how to get into spiritual routine Oct 28, 2024
    Show notes

"But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day." Proverbs 4:18 ESV Life isn’t built in a single day—it’s built in the small, deliberate moments that add up over time. Zozo takes you on a journey through what it means to make prayer, worship, and studying the Word part of your everyday life. This episode isn’t just about feeling close to God on the good days; it’s about creating a routine that grounds you, especially when life feels uncertain. Prayer becomes more than words; worship transforms from a song to a lifestyle. And the Word becomes your steady foundation. Zozo talks about why these practices aren’t just habits—they’re a way to bring God’s presence into the rhythm of your day. You’ll learn practical ways to start and stay consistent, find gospel music that resonates, and bring your dreams to life through a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit. you're in transition and that's okay (you'll come out better anyway) Oct 21, 2024

"The Lord said, “I have in fact seen the affliction (suffering, desolation) of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters (oppressors); for I know their pain and suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand (power) of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a land [that is] good and spacious, to a land [a]flowing with milk and honey [a land of plenty]—to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite. Now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me; and I have also seen how the Egyptians oppress them." Exodus 3:7-9 AMP Episode Description: Maybe right now, you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere—like you’re waiting for your life to start again. But what if this is the start? In this episode of From Love Itself, Zozo unpacks the truth we often avoid: transition is where real growth happens. Through the story of Moses and the Israelites, she reminds us that the hard parts are where God is molding us into who we’re meant to be. It’s uncomfortable, it’s uncertain, but it’s necessary. You’re not stuck—you’re evolving. Trust the timing. Trust the process. This season will leave you stronger, wiser, and more aligned than ever before. You’re not behind, you’re at the beginning. "Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea."

Micah 7:18-19 NIV In this meeting, we’re talking about the three ways to bring repentance into your life—on a national level, within your family, and personally. Zozo breaks down how to recognize hidden idols that might be blocking your connection with God and why now is the time to clear them out (read the signs of the time). We then talk about the ministry of the Holy Spirit and how to partner with Him, and fellowship with Him through prayer, scripture, and surrounding yourself with the right people. Some idols mentioned in no particular order: sororities, fraternities, men and women of God, celebrities, jobs, status, immorality, the list goes on. Get a notebook!

how to walk in love Sep 23, 2024
    Show notes

In today's episode, I'm exploring the idea of walking in love. It's a concept that's been rattling around in my brain, and I wanted to unpack it with you. We'll chat about different types of love, the role of forgiveness, and how embracing love can genuinely transform your life. I'll share some of my own experiences and thoughts on making love a daily practice. So grab your favorite drink, get comfy, and let's dive in.

"If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing."
