Michael Monroe, Hanoi Rocks - Ep. 90 Nov 05, 2018
    Show notes

Michael Monroe is sometimes referred to as one of the founding fathers of the Hollywood's glam-rock scene. Does he want to be credited with that title? Did he mind bands influenced by Hanoi Rocks' look and sound? How did his relationship with Guns N' Roses start? What's the origin of his contributions to GNR's "Ain't it Fun" and "Bad Obsession"? Michael gives his opinions on groupies, today's rock, politics, and if he'd ever join GNR on stage again. Speaking of politics, Axl Rose has been VERY anti-Donald Trump on Twitter recently and addresses why you may hear GNR music at his rallies. Guest co-host Art Tavana and Brando break down Axl's tweets and Guns N' Roses' political positions. All this and so much more! Please follow/subscribe/leave a review!

What did it mean for David as Axl wore a Junkyard shirt when they first started out? What does he recall about the GNR/Junkyard show in 1987 at Perkins Palace? What is Junkyard working on now? How does he define success? Also this, special fan-cohost Ms. Metal, and so much more! Follow Junkyard at @JunkyardBlooze on Twitter.

Hillbilly Herald talks Slash changing his life & Pabst Blue Ribbon - Ep. 83 Sep 11, 2018

A Pabst Blue Ribbon mic stand inspired by his dad who used to rob banks. That alone separates Hillbilly (Jimmy) Herald from the pack, but there's much more to the story. Slash told him to start a band. This was while Jimmy was a 35-year-old bartender. Since then he has opened shows for Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators (including upcoming at the Whiskey), Steel Panther, and new record was produced by Gilby Clarke. Hillbilly and Brando go into some thought provoking and deep conversations, all under our GNR umbrella.

John Corabi, Alex Grossi, Nadja Reed & Dizzy Reed - Ep. 81 Aug 28, 2018
    Show notes

"Don't wake the bear." In this episode, Dizzy F'N Reed is the bear... First in Ep. 81 we speak with John Corabi, vocalist of The Dead Daises and former Motley Crue. We discuss the Daises' new album and tour, as well as what was like working with Dizzy Reed and Richard Fortus in DD. How did he feel when Dizzy and Richard left to join the GNR reunion? After we speak with John, we talk with friend/Quiet Riot's Alex Grossi and were SUPPOSED to have Guns N' Roses' Dizzy Reed on too. Well, much like GNR, expect the unexpected. We end up having a lovely chat with Dizzy's wife, Nadja Reed. She contributed heavily to Dizzy's solo album, so there's plenty to discuss. Also, she faces the bear as we listen in to her waking Dizzy up from his hotel bed just to say hi to the fans! So we do get a cameo from Diz! Between John, Nadja, Alex...and a lil Dizzy...this is a fun conversation that goes all over, stemming from Guns N' Roses of course. Also stick around after the outro, as you can listen to the Dead Daises new single "Dead and Gone"!!
