This week, I could not be happier to be back at work after a jam-packed Thanksgiving break in St. Louis. John and I recapped my co-hosting stint on Today with Jenna (and my beautiful feet) and talked the new Vanderpump Rules premiere.

Then, I cried while telling the story of how I cried (okay, sobbed) after dropping Ben off at school and contemplated how much the Tooth Fairy should leave him for his first lost tooth.

But perhaps the biggest headline is John's calamity over the break: dealing with the fallout from a fire next door that damaged most of his possessions (not to mention my prized rug).

This week, I'm back from LA and filming the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion. John and I grappled with the Nor'easter (that kind of never showed up), and then I made a quick trip to Nashville to talk to some Dieticians.

Then, John's settling into his new (amazing but problem-rittled) apartment and it became clear to me that I'm turning into my Mom and Ben is turning into me.
