Show notes

It’s safe to say that more people than usual are having a hard time right now, and that makes it difficult to be productive. If you’re feeling this way, Bethany is right there with you! She’s opening up about her struggles and offers tips that have helped her get things done during the day (even if it’s just getting out of bed)! Then, Kathleen takes a break from yelling at construction workers out her window to share a slew of tooth-related crimes. Who knew there were so many??

S3 Ep297: Sage Your Life... It's a Full Moon And A New Year Dec 30, 2020

Show notes

Bethany and Kathleen are cleansing their brains of all the things they've been thinking about lately while looking back on some of their favorite 2020 topics. Everything that has gone wrong lately is a fault of the full moon and everything that has gone well is because the sage ritual worked. Time to make up a pagan prayer, gather your bathing suits, strap in your haunted dolls, and banish New Year's resolutions for once and for all. Cheers to a vaccinated 2021!

S3 Ep296: Delegating To Aliens, Driving Getaway Cards, And Twice Delicious Audio Porn Dec 24, 2020

Show notes

Remember January 2020? Remember when this was going to be “our year?” HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. We were all so young and naive then. Kathleen and Bethany are taking the next two weeks to look back at some of their favorite podcast moments from 2020 and earlier, including Kathleen’s New Year’s resolution to take it “one day at a time,” (a skillset she had no idea would come in handy in a few months), Bethany’s poignant message to her 15-year-old self that still rings true today, and that time Kathleen made Bethany listen to audio porn and Bethany’s shame exploded into more, smaller shames. (Some might call it a “Midwestern Shame Spiral.”) Drink up, Tastebuds. We’re taking a car without brakes straight down Memory Lane hill.

S3 Ep295: Secret David Copperfield Illusions Revealed & Traveling In Your Mind with Travel + Leisure Magazine Dec 17, 2020

Show notes

Fun fact: Bethany’s first radio boss told her she had to stop talking about magician David Copperfield because she was “creeping out the listeners.” But she’s talking about him now!! Inspired by her new favorite TV show
“Jonathan Creek,” Bethany goes behind-the-scenes with some of the biggest stage illusions of all time and tells you how they’re done! Then, Kathleen is looking forward to 2021 when *hopefully* everyone can travel safely again, and she has big plans! (How do you make a rundown boat landing sound whimsical?)
