The Brian Walshe Verdict: “We Find the Defendant Guilty of Murder in the First Degree” Dec 15, 2025
    Show notes

Criminal Defense Attorney Alison Triessl joins Amy and T.J. to discuss today’s sooner than expected guilty verdict in the Brian Walshe trial. Triessl talks about how the defense overplayed its hand, and already had an uphill battle with those devastating and gruesome searches Brian made shortly after his wife Ana’s death. Despite the prosecution’s lackluster presentation, and the lack of a body or known cause of death, it took the jury less than 6 hours to return a guilty verdict.

After less than 6 hours the jury in the Brian Walshe trial came back with the unanimous decision to find him guilty as charged. Walshe appeared emotionless and had zero interaction with his defense team as the decision was read aloud.

His Mistress Dumped Him, Then Michigan Fired Him, Then He Went To Jail Dec 13, 2025
    Show notes

39-year-old Sherrone Moore is waking up with an electronic monitoring device after being charged with felony third degree home invasion, stalking and breaking and entering. Moore was fired by the University of Michigan earlier this week after they learned of a years long inappropriate relationship with a staffer. Within an hour, prosecutors say he barged into that woman’s house and everything unraveled from there in a shocking series of events.

The Brian Walshe Trial:  “Don’t Let Him Get Away With Murder”  Dec 12, 2025
    Show notes

The prosecution spent a little more than half an hour trying to convince the jury to use their common sense and convict Brian Walshe of First Degree murder for what they call the “violent death” of his wife Ana on New Year’s Day three years ago. Just after noon ET, the jury began their deliberations and were given three options for their verdict: Guilty of first-degree murder, guilty of second-degree murder, or not guilty.

The Brian Walshe Trial: “Nothing Violent Happened In That House” Dec 12, 2025
    Show notes

The defense attorney for Brian Walshe, Larry Tipton, spent this morning making his best case for why jurors should find Brian Walshe not guilty of first degree murder in the death of his wife Ana. Despite the gruesome searches and the fact that Walshe has admitted to dismembering and disposing of his wife’s body, Tipton told jurors that there is no evidence that Brian ever once thought about harming his wife, claiming the only evidence was love.

Former Miss Switzerland Finalist Murdered, Dismembered and Police Say, Put In  A Blender By Husband Dec 11, 2025
    Show notes

In a case that eerily mimics the gruesome details coming out of the Brian Walshe trial, a Swiss man has just been formally charged with murdering his wife, dismembering her body, and then dissolving her body parts in a blender. He’s been charged with murder and disturbing the peace of the dead after police say he strangled 38-year-old former Miss Switzerland finalist Kristina Joksimovic and the mother of his two young daughters.

The Brian Walshe Trial Day 9: “I Will Not Testify” And With That, The Defense Rests Dec 11, 2025
    Show notes

A somewhat shocking day in the Brian Walshe trial with the defense announcing not only will Brian Walshe not testify, no one else will either. It’s a decision based on strategic confidence or avoidance of risk, but either way, the defense surprised a number of legal experts who were anticipating at least a few witnesses to take the stand in defense of Walshe. Today’s decision suggests Walshe’s defense team feels good about their ability to sew reasonable doubt in the minds of jurors through their cross examination of the state’s witnesses. Closing arguments are set for tomorrow!

The Brian Walshe Trial Day 8: The Prosecution Rests Its Case  Dec 10, 2025
    Show notes

It was the prosecution’s final day of testimony and they saved the best for last. The day began with Gem Mutlu, one of the Walshe’s dear friends and most notably, the man who spent New Year’s Eve with the couple in the hours leading up to Ana’s death. The prosecution struggled with Mutlu’s testimony, and it’s unclear whether it did more harm than good. The final witness for the state was one of Ana’s best friends who had some incredible details we have yet to hear about the Walshe’s marriage, but once again, she seems to have both helped and hurt the case against Walshe.
