33-year-old Michelle Zajko has been charged with murdering her parents on her 30th birthday: New Year’s Eve 2022. Zajko is a member of the cult like group, the Zizians, who have ties to at least six homicides according to police. Prosecutors announced that doorbell camera footage, along with ballistics and cell phone data show Zajko participated in shooting both of her parents in the head shortly after her mom reached out via text to reconcile and wish her a happy birthday. While no one else has been charged in the murders of Rita and Richard Zajko, police say she did not act alone.

Mystery Deepens In Death Of SC Personal Trainer Jun 24, 2026

The body of 39-year-old personal trainer Elena Moore was discovered nearly a week after she went missing, and now a full week later, police still don’t have any answers into how or why Moore died. Preliminary autopsy results show no physical trauma and did not reveal a cause of death. Also, several cryptic social media posts made by Moore in the months and weeks leading up to her death suggest she was suffering a painful heartbreak, although police have said Moore’s husband, who reported her missing, is not a person of interest in her death.

Florida Set To Execute Oldest Man In State’s History Jun 24, 2026

74-year-old Dusty Ray Spencer is scheduled to die by lethal injection on Thursday, which will make him the oldest man ever executed in the state of Florida. Spencer’s attorneys have made a last ditch appeal to the Supreme Court, citing cruel and unusual punishment towards a 74-year-old man suffering from significant medical conditions. Spencer was convicted for the 1992 brutal stabbing and beating death of his wife Karen in front of her teenage son. Her murder led to significant changes in the way police and state courts address domestic violence. Spencer had warned Karen from jail he was going to finish what he started.

9 Execution Dates, 3 Last Meals, And Now… A Third Trial Jun 24, 2026

63-year-old Richard Glossip was back in court yesterday asking a judge to set a new preliminary hearing to determine whether there was enough evidence for prosecutors to proceed with a third trial. The judge refused and instead set a September trial date for the former death row inmate whose murder conviction was thrown out by the Supreme Court last year. Glossip has maintained his innocence for the 1997 killing of his boss, motel owner Barry Van Treese. Kim Kardashian and others have voiced their support for Glossip, Kardashian even helping post his $500,000 bond last month, which allowed Glossip to walk out of prison for the first time in nearly 30 years.

Jeff Metcalf has been making the rounds following Anthony’s first degree murder conviction and addressing the concerns many have about whether Anthony, who is black, got a fair trial with not one black juror seated. Metcalf has taken issue with "The View” and specifically host Sonny Hostin for saying Anthony was not judged by a “jury of his peers.” Metcalf reveals a racial nickname he came up with for Anthony that is taking this already tragic case to a whole new low.

Several news outlets are reporting that law enforcement sources say a second ransom note sent to a Tucson television station claimed that 84 Nancy Guthrie was dead. In the note, the kidnappers reportedly said they did not mean to kill her, but that she died soon after being abducted. According to authorities, the FBI and police believe the notes were authentic and from Guthrie’s kidnappers. TMZ is also revealing the contents of the notes they received, where the author clearly states, “time is no longer of the essence.”
