Tonight at 6pm ET the state of Florida continues its record setting trend of executions, with the planned lethal injection of Daniel Conahan, Jr, also known as “The Hog Trail Killer.” Conahan will die for the 1996 murder of 21-year-old Richard Allen Montgomery, but he’s suspected in the murders of at least 12 other men in the area. Police say he lured young men with the promise of a couple hundred dollars, to pose nude in bondage photos. Then, according to authorities, Conahan would tie them up in the woods, strangle them and mutilate their genitalia.

Andrew and Tristan Tate will remain behind bars in a Florida prison while continuing to fight extradition to the UK where the self proclaimed misogynist brothers are facing nearly 60 charges of sex crimes. Romania just added additional charges agains the Tates late last week, including trafficking minors, sex with a minor, witness tampering and money laundering. Despite the growing number of charges, Tate’s attorney and the brothers themselves have been using social media to describe themselves as victims, claiming prosecutors don’t like their misogynistic message and fame.

Both Patrick and his wife have been relentlessly attacked by online sleuths who claim to have proof backing up their conspiracy theory. Patrick released a statement saying the people spreading these falsehoods will be held accountable legally, specifying that “law enforcement has been notified.”

Three of the Lindsay Clancy jurors are talking about what it was like in the jury deliberation room and give their impressions on the case, providing some fascinating insight into the 5 week long trial, and the 30 plus hours of deliberations that ended in a mistrial. The three women, including the jury foreperson, describe the holdout juror as an arrogant man who acknowledged he had reasonable doubt, but refused to sign off on the not guilty verdict. They also discuss the point at which they were convinced Clancy was in a state of psychosis, and not criminally responsible for the deaths of her three children… and it didn’t come from a medical professional. And finally, all three women were impacted by the lack of compassion from the prosecution as they presented their case, calling their tone “cold” and “harsh.”

A judge denied the release of 40-year-old mom of four, Corie Walsh during her first court appearance after strangling her 2-year-old son Barrett last week, saying she remains a risk to her other children and husband. Walsh’s attorneys wanted their client sent to a mental health facility, claiming Walsh had a fascination with the Lindsay Clancy trial while suffering a psychotic event at the time of the murder. Some new and chilling details came out of today’s hearing: police described Walsh as “incoherent” and claimed she believed she had killed her other children while planning to poison her husband with a drink when he came home. Walsh is charged with first degree murder after her two older children found their 2 year old brother hanging from the rafters of their basement.

Debate Rages After Mom Of 5-Year-Old Convicted For Letting Son Walk 1/2 Mile Alone Sep 08, 2026

On its face, it sounds horrific: a mom allows her five-year-old son to walk alone to a neighborhood pond, a half mile away. That mom is Karyann Parkinson and she’s speaking out after being convicted of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Parkinson is also now on a state abuse registry for the next seven years. The mom of five says she had just walked to the pond six times with her son that day, in their gated community, complete with security guards. It was one of those guards who escorted the boy home, and ultimately called police. Debate is now raging online among parents, how young is too young to walk alone, and what is the role of the state when it comes to making parenting decisions?

Family Of Celeste Rivas Hernandez Calls For D4vd To Face Death Penalty Sep 08, 2026

On what would’ve been Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s 16th birthday, her family released a new photo of her and a statement saying the death penalty “would be perfect” for singer D4vd, who’s been charged with the killing and dismembering the young teen. Today is the one year anniversary of the discovery of Hernandez’s remains in the front trunk of D4vd’s Tesla. Even though the last execution in California happened two decades ago, the DA has not yet taken the death penalty off the table. Hernandez’s family also called into question D4vd’s legal representation, saying he is not indigent and should not qualify for public defenders after after his private attorneys withdrew from his case last week.
