We'll be talking with some outstanding organizations that are truly helping our veterans and their families. Folds of Honor, Warriors For Freedom. We will also be talking about PGA of America’s charitable foundation called PGA HOPE. This is a program designed to introduce golf to military veterans, Wounded Warriors and Veterans with Disabilities in an effort to enhance their mental, social, physical and emotional well-being. We will also cover the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act that was signed and made effective in February 2015 by President Obama. Help stop 22 Veteran Suicides a day.

With veteran suicide at a high rate, we, Warriors for Freedom Foundation a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, have committed to raising awareness to this issue. September 1, 2014 we launched a “Remembering the 22″ campaign in honor of the 22 confirmed veterans who commit suicide each day due to untreated combat related stressors and injuries. On September 21, we had 50 people, military and civilian alike, walk 22 miles through the OKC metro to raise awareness.

Some that were able-Bodied Warriors now have the challenge of adjusting to being permanently disabled Veterans. IHOOT provides a means for families to reconnect and reestablish healthy relationships, regardless of when they served.
