Is Light the Future of Medicine? | With David Schmidt, Founder and Inventor of Life Wave | Ep.74 Oct 06, 2026
    Show notes

Today, we turned the lights on in the studio to talk about a different kind of light. My husband Adam, got to sit down with someone whose work has genuinely changed our family's health this past year — David Schmidt, founder and inventor of LifeWave.

David opens with a claim that sounds almost too simple to be true: light is foundational to everything, down to the cellular level and your body is emitting it right now. He walks us through the science of biophotons, how his research on destroying cancer cells in college and developing survival tech for Navy SEALs eventually led him to invent phototherapy patches that trigger real biochemical change without a drug or a needle.

But David doesn't stop at the science. He ties it back to Genesis — "let there be light" — and we talk about the real difference between chasing longevity out of fear of aging and death, versus pursuing health so we can love God and our families well for as long as we're here. We also get practical: minerals, magnesium, oxytocin, and why no patch replaces the foundation of sleep, movement, real food, and water.

This conversation is going to LIGHT you up!

I Let Dr. Amen Scan My Brain — Here's What He Found | Ep. 73 Sep 30, 2026
    Show notes

I was recently a guest on Dr. Daniel Amen's podcast, Change Your Brain Every Day, and the conversation was so meaningful I wanted to share it with you here too.

I sat down with Dr. Amen to talk about something I haven't spoken about publicly much: the last few years have been some of the hardest of my life — back-to-back hardship in motherhood, marriage, business, and health. I've always considered myself resilient, but I got honest with him about hitting a wall I didn't recognize in myself.

Dr. Amen actually scanned my brain using SPECT imaging, and what we found surprised both of us — real, physical evidence of impact from the shark attack, decades later. We get into fame and why it was harder for me to process than the attack itself, the toll chronic stress takes on the brain, my journey with Rolfing and nervous system regulation, and how prayer itself measurably changes brain activity.

DIVING DEEPER | Do You Have a Good Conscience? | Pastor Bryan Wolfmueller | EP. 72 Sep 02, 2026
    Show notes

This week on Diving Deeper, Adam sits down with Pastor Bryan Wolfmueller here on Kauai to talk about something we all have but rarely talk about. Our conscience!

Pastor Bryan breaks it down in a way that only a great American Pastor would: with a sports analogy! The conscience as a home plate umpire, calling balls and strikes on everything we say and do, and sometimes getting the call wrong. As a window, where a dirty conscience doesn't just make the world outside look dangerous, it makes us start seeing our own sin reflected in everyone around us. We talk about how a tender conscience gets calloused over time, sin by sin, commandment by commandment, and why some of the sins we've stopped feeling guilty over might be the ones we need to feel most.

But this isn't just a conversation about guilt. There is GOOD NEWS! Pastor Bryan walks through the difference between guilt and shame, why our own effort can never wash us clean, and how the conscience is made new — cleansed through faith in Christ's blood, and healed through a life of service and love.

    Birthing Babies Pt. 1 | Bethany's Best Friends Share Their Stories | Ep. 71 Aug 25, 2026
    Show notes

This week I brought my two dearest childhood friends, Michelle and Noelani, onto the podcast to talk birthing babies! Between the three of us, we've had nine babies, home births, hospital births, an emergency C-section, and a VBAC.

We get into the back labor no one warns you about, the moment a single nurse changed the outcome of a five-hour push, and the chaos of a car crash blocking a midwife's route to a home birth. We also answer your Instagram questions — home vs. hospital birth, delayed cord clamping, and prepping baby's position before labor even starts.

Friend, however your babies came into the world, we're cheering you on.

Going Viral and Staying Grounded | Julia Poe Petersen | Ep. 70 Aug 04, 2026
    Show notes

This week I'm on the beach in California with my new friend Julia Poe Petersen. You might know her voice before you know her name. She sang the collab verse on one of my favorite Forest Frank songs, and I knew I had to have her on!

Julia's story is a social media story through and through. Viral livestreams from her bedroom piano during Covid, a husband she met on TikTok, an audience of 850,000+ built. But this conversation isn't really about the growth. It's about what it took to stay steady underneath it. The comparison she battled at 16, the discontent that crept in the moment the whole world showed up in her pocket, and how she found an identity that didn't move every time the numbers did.

We talk about rebuilding confidence through faith instead of followers, why she and her husband refuse to fake their beliefs for content, the family-priority stance that gets her comment section fired up every time, and how she's already thinking about protecting her own kids from the platforms that shaped her.

Friend, if you or a loved one is struggling with how to navigate the online world with authenticity, this one is for you.

    Mentioned in this episode:

    • Julia Poe Petersen — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
    • Julia's collab with Forest Frank
    • Dr. Caroline Leaf's book "Switch on Your Brain"
    • Up — a new social platform designed to protect kids online

Is Sugar Actually Good For You? | The Nutrition Coach Emma Sgourakis | Ep. 69 Jul 21, 2026
    Show notes

This week I sat down with Emma Sgourakis — known as The Nutrition Coach — right here on Kauai, and we got into something I don't think gets talked about enough: how fear, not food, might be the real thing making us sick.

About Emma: Emma is a certified clinical nutritionist based in Sydney with over 20 years in practice, working with everyone from busy moms to professional athletes. She's the only Australian nutritionist officially affiliated with the Peat Nutrition Consultants network, building on the research of the late Dr. Ray Peat, PhD. Her writing has been featured in Australian Elle, Vogue, and Marie Claire, among others.

In this conversation, Emma shares her own journey through nearly every diet trend imaginable before landing on something simpler — trusting the body instead of fighting it. We talk about why chronic under-eating quietly wrecks your metabolism, why fruit was never the enemy, why "sugar" isn't one thing (cane sugar, fruit sugar, and fake sweeteners like stevia all send your body very different messages), and why slowing down and actually enjoying your food matters more than we think.

DIVING DEEPER: The Shroud of Turin: Could This Be Evidence of the Resurrection? | Ep.68 Jul 07, 2026
    Show notes

For centuries, the Shroud of Turin has fascinated historians, scientists, skeptics, and believers alike. Is it truly the burial cloth of Jesus, or simply one of history's greatest mysteries?

In this episode of All Things Possible, Pastor Brian Stecker sits down with Dr. John Bambaro to explore the remarkable evidence surrounding the Shroud of Turin. Together, they unpack decades of scientific research, archaeological discoveries, historical records, and biblical connections that have made the shroud one of the most studied artifacts in history.

While our faith ultimately rests in the risen Christ, this conversation explores how the Shroud can serve as a compelling signpost pointing back to the truth of Scripture and the reality of Jesus' death and resurrection.

Whether you're skeptical, curious, or simply looking to deepen your faith, this episode offers a thoughtful and engaging look at one of Christianity's most fascinating subjects.

    In this episode you'll discover:
    • What the Shroud of Turin actually is
    • Why many scientists no longer believe it's a medieval painting
    • The evidence connecting the cloth to first-century Jerusalem
    • How the wounds align with the Gospel accounts of Jesus' crucifixion
    • Why the Shroud continues to challenge both skeptics and believers
    • How physical evidence can strengthen—but never replace—faith in Christ

No matter where you are in your faith journey, our hope is that this conversation leads you to the same place the Shroud points—to the life, death, and victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ.

"These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name." — John 20:31

Lean Into the Fear | Ashley Jones | Ep. 67 Jun 23, 2026
    Show notes

At just 14 years old, Ashley Jones faced unimaginable loss. After losing her arm in a traumatic accident, she lost her father only three months later. What followed was a journey marked by grief, faith, perseverance, and discovering that life could still be beautiful.

In this episode of All Things Possible, Bethany sits down with elite runner and former collegiate athlete Ashley Jones to reflect on ten years of healing, the role that sports played in shaping resilience, and why some of life’s hardest moments require us to lean in rather than retreat.

    Together they discuss:

    • Ashley’s traumatic accident and losing her dad just months later
    • Finding hope and community through the Beautifully Flawed retreats
    • Competing as a collegiate runner and overcoming injuries
    • How sports teach discipline and perseverance
    • Learning to embrace discomfort instead of running from it
    • Navigating public attention and living with limb difference
    • The faithfulness of God through seasons of suffering
    • Why there is always hope, no matter where you are

Whether you're walking through hardship, facing disappointment, or simply wondering what God is doing in your story, this conversation is a reminder that He is still writing something beautiful.

    Diving Deeper: Law & Gospel | Pastor Will |Ep. 66 Jun 16, 2026
    Show notes

Many Christians spend their lives asking, "Am I doing enough?" But what if that question misses the heart of Christianity altogether?

In this episode of our Diving Deeper series, Pastor William Pierce joins us to unpack one of the most transformative concepts in Christian theology: Law and Gospel.

    Together we explore:

    • Why Christianity is primarily about what Jesus has done for us, not what we do for Him
    • The difference between God's commands and God's promises
    • How the Law exposes our need for a Savior
    • Why the Gospel brings true freedom and assurance
    • The role of the Holy Spirit in applying God's Word to our lives
    • Why good works can never be the foundation of our salvation
    • How understanding Law and Gospel changes the way we read Scripture

If you've ever struggled with guilt, performance-based faith, or wondering where your assurance comes from, this conversation offers a deeper look at the good news of Jesus Christ and the freedom found in His finished work.

Is This The Missing Piece To Your Health? | Ashlee Rowland | Ep. 65 Jun 08, 2026
    Show notes

What if the health breakthrough you're searching for isn't another supplement, medication, or social media trend?

In this episode of All Things Possible, we sit down with Ashlee Rowland for the second time (check out episode 59 for the first convo). In this episode, join us for a deep conversation on the overlooked foundations of health. From minerals and metabolism to hormones, stress, circadian rhythms, and generational wellness, Ashlee challenges many of the assumptions people have about what it really takes to thrive.

We explore why so many people feel stuck despite "doing all the right things," how mineral deficiencies can impact everything from energy and anxiety to hormone health, and why sustainable health starts with understanding the body's foundations, not chasing quick fixes.

Most importantly, this conversation is about taking ownership. The choices you make today don't just affect you—they shape the health of your children and generations to come.

    In This Episode:
    • Why minerals may be the missing link in your health journey
    • The connection between stress, metabolism, and hormone balance
    • How modern lifestyles can quietly deplete the body
    • The difference between symptom management and true healing
    • Why quick-fix health trends often miss the bigger picture
    • Building a family culture of wellness that lasts generations
    • Practical first steps for creating sustainable vitality

If you've ever felt overwhelmed by conflicting health advice or frustrated that your efforts aren't producing results, this episode offers a refreshing perspective on what really moves the needle.
