    Sione Havili: One Choice That Changed Everything Mar 18, 2026

    In October 1998, Sione Havili's future looked incredibly bright. Earlier that year, he had signed a letter of intent to play football at BYU and was preparing to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New York City. But in a single moment, everything changed. A decision to take part in an act of retaliation tied to gang violence would alter the course of Sione's life forever.     Maria Eckersley: Receiving the Gift of the Resurrection at Easter Mar 11, 2026

    Years ago, Maria Eckersley found herself needing the Savior more than ever. As her husband battled pancreatic cancer, Easter became more than a holiday—it became a lifeline of hope, hope in the promises of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Instead of creating a long list of activities or traditions, Maria created what she calls a "tradition of teaching."     Ben Hammond: Breathing Life Into Sculpture Feb 18, 2026

    When the Temple Square renovation is complete, four new sculptures by artist Ben Hammond will welcome visitors to the grounds. Hammond began his career apprenticing under a sculptor known for crafting busts for the NFL Hall of Fame. Since then, his meticulous talent has led to creating Hall of Fame busts himself and sculpting a statue of Martha Hughes Cannon for the U.S. Capitol. As she reached for it, a bomb—placed by master forger Mark Hofmann in a desperate attempt to divert attention from his collapsing fraud scheme—detonated, taking her life.
