Episode #45: How to Build a 6-Figure Personal Brand
One fundamental part of building that 6-figure-business foundation is treating your business like a business from the very beginning. So even on days when you don’t feel like showing up, you need to pull on your CEO pants and do it.
Of equal importance is paying attention to ALL the important components of a business from the very beginning. So instead of taking things day by day or month by month, track your numbers and sales, set quarterly and yearly goals, and think about taxes and saving money.
You should also get into the habit of referring to your company as exactly that: a company. Because as you continue to grow, you’ll slowly have an entire team behind you. And your business won’t be just about you. Instead, it will be about working as a team to make your company’s mission come to life.
The truth is, no one is going to grow their business to the level they want without planning and taking action for it now. So focus on always being a step ahead and building a strong foundation as you go, regardless of where your business is currently at. And to do that, consider questions like:
- What do you want?
- What does your company want?
- How involved do you want to be with everything?
- What are your main priorities?
- Most importantly: What are your company's mission and vision?
You don’t want to get to a point in your business when you’re so ahead in your business, you’re walking over a bridge with no foundation. By answering these questions and considering these strategies from the very beginning of your business, you, your team, and your company will be able to grow with ease.
