    Alexi Lalas and David Mosse react to Lamine Yamal making history as he became the youngest goalscorer ever at the Euros. The previous Euro record was held by Pelé, who was 17 years-old and 239 days. Spain advances to the finals for their 5th appearance all-time. Lionel Messi and Argentina also clinched their spot in the Copa América finals as they defeated Canada 2-0. Messi delivered the victory with his first goal of the tournament. The guys also discussed the U.S. Men’s Soccer Olympic Roster that was released, including Walker Zimmerman and Miles Robinson who headline the team for Paris. (4:06)

    Carli Lloyd & Rob Stone join the Pod, Brazil falls short, James Rodríguez lifts Colombia Jul 07, 2024

    Alexi Lalas and David Mosse welcome back Carli Lloyd and Rob Stone to recap the final day of Euros and Copa América quarterfinals. England advanced behind standout performances from Bukayo Saka and Jordan Pickford, and the Netherlands rallied with two second half goals to beat Türkiye 2-1. James Rodríguez led the way for Colombia as they continued their 27-match unbeaten streak. With 3 goal contributions on the night, Rodríguez helped Colombia advance to their 3rd semifinals in the last five years. They will face Uruguay in the semifinals, who also advanced past Brazil. 17-year old Endrick recorded his first international start with Vinicius Junior out, but Marcelo Bielsa’s squad was able to finish on top in the penalty shootout.     Yamal assists Spain to semifinals, Ronaldo’s Euro 2024 exit, Berhalter decision time Jul 06, 2024

    Alexi Lalas and David Mosse broke down all the quarterfinal action today starting with the blockbuster matchup of Spain and Germany. To put Spain ahead 1-0, Lamine Yamal recorded the assist to Dani Olmo and became the first teenager to record three assists in a single Euro tournament. Mikel Merino sent the host team home with his header late in extra time. In the semifinals, Spain is set to face France who advanced past Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal on penalties. On the Copa América side, Venezuela and Canada’s quarterfinal match came down to another penalty shootout. The Maple Leaves and American Head Coach Jesse Marsch, booked their ticket to the semifinals in their debut appearance. (1:57)

    Alexi Lalas and David Mosse recap Messi and Argentina’s dramatic win to advance to the Copa América semifinals. Lisandro Martínez put the reigning champs on top in the 35th minute, scoring his first international goal of his career. After Ecuador leveled the score in second half stoppage time, Argentina clinched their spot on penalties despite Lionel Messi's shocking miss. Emiliano Martínez was electric in the shootout with two huge saves. The Euro 2024 quarter finals also kick off tomorrow with two of the biggest matchups between Spain and Germany & Portugal and France. (3:37)

    Rob Stone joins the Pod, Türkiye’s cinderella story continues, Brazil & Colombia advance Jul 03, 2024

    Alexi Lalas, David Mosse, and special guest Rob Stone, unpack another full day of action. In the Euros Round of 16 the Netherlands came alive and booked their ticket to the quarterfinals with a 3-0 win. The Dutch’s Donyell Malen recorded the first multi-goal performance of the tournament. Türkiye continues their Cinderella story, scoring the fastest goal in a Euro knockout stage match and advancing past Austria. On the Copa América side, Brazil and Colombia faced off to decide who would top the group. The two teams split the points, and both advanced to the quarterfinals. The guys also shared their final thoughts on the USMNT not making it out of the group, as well as the future of the squad. (4:21)

    Bellingham & Kane escape defeat, Spain dominates behind Nico Williams, Mexico crashes out Jul 01, 2024

    Alexi Lalas and David Mosse recap the thrilling comebacks in the Euros Round of 16, as well as Mexico and Jamaica’s elimination from Copa América Group B. England escaped an early knockout round exit, with a Jude Bellingham bicycle late in second half stoppage time. Slovakia led 1-0 for most of the match, but after leveling the score Harry Kane’s header claimed the Three Lions victory. Spain also came back from being down 1-0, scoring 4 unanswered goals to advance. Mexico failed to make it out of the group for the third time in their last four Copa América appearances. A win on the night would have clinched their spot in the quarterfinals. (3:03)

Germany and Switzerland both advanced, while the Euros defending champions Italy were eliminated. Jamal Musiala becomes Germany’s youngest goal scorer in the Euros knockout stage, with his third goal of the tournament. In Copa América Group A, Argentina booked their ticket to the knockout round, defeating Peru 2-0 without Messi. Jesse Marsch and Canada also clinched their spot, making this their first appearance in the Copa América knockout round. (1:35)

    Alexi Lalas, David Mosse, and special guest Clint Dempsey, recap a disappointing day on the pitch for the USMNT. In a chippy match against Panama, Tim Weah was sent off early with a red card. Folarin Balogun’s sensational goal off the post wasn’t enough to get the win, as Panama completed the comeback 2-1. Also in Group C, Uruguay dominated Bolivia 5-0 behind five different goal scorers. Uruguay will face the USMNT on Monday, a huge match that will decide if the U.S. advances to the Copa América quarterfinals and the future for Gregg Berhatler. (2:27)
