HAVE YOU ever wondered about those disturbing waking dreams in which you’re sure someone is in your room, someone who means to hurt you, and you’re paralyzed, unable to even call for help? Or have you seen something indistinct but person-shaped, possibly wearing a hat, that appears and disappears through solid objects like doors and walls?

Jason Offutt, author of Darkness Walks: The Shadow People Among Us, has seen them, too. And so the creator of the paranormal-themed From the Shadows column has researched the so-called Shadow People, presenting an easy-to-read analysis of the possible scientific, supernatural, and theological explanations for these ghostly apparitions.

A WEEK doesn’t go by without a new lurid crime playing around the clock on the 24-hour cable news channels. So many of them involve children, like the Phillip Garrido alleged kidnapping of Jaycee Dugard, or Melissa Huckaby, who allegedly raped and killed 8-year-old Sandra Cantu.

William H. Kennedy has been researching occult and satanic crime since his days as at San Francisco State University, and he joined us to try to help us make sense of an insane world.

SOME OF the largest grossing movies in Hollywood history feature depictions of demonic possession. They’re terrifying, but are they realistic?

Pastor Doug Van Dorn (DouglasVanDorn.com), author of Battle for the Bible’s Truth: Genesis, Jesus, and the Second Century Plot to Deny the Messiah and award-winning screenwriter Brian Godawa (Godawa.com), best-selling author of the theological thriller Cruel Logic and the new novel Daniel: Exile in Babylon join us to discuss the accuracy of those films and their value in presenting supernatural evil in a way that can encourage discussions of spiritual truths.

Sadly, our friend Dr. Judd Burton (BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant, was unable to connect due to technical problems, an issue that will be corrected for next months’s discussion.

It’s Wayback Wednesday with another episode drawn from our archive of programs going back to 2009. This week, we feature the late Russ Dizdar and an interview we did upon the release of his classic book, The Black Awakening.

AFTER YEARS of research and writing, deliverance minister Russ Dizdar’s long awaited book The Black Awakening is due for release. While this may cover old ground for long-time P.I.D. Radio listeners, we think it’s good to revisit his work, which puts a human face on the supernatural war we’re in — whether we realize it or want to accept it.

The Black Awakening refers to an event that people under the influence of a demonically controlled alternate personality have described to Russ, a day when people who’ve infiltrated law enforcement, the military, and first responder organizations are triggered — much like in my novel The God Conspiracy — to create literal hell on Earth.

This week, we begin a series of episodes drawn from our archive of programs going back to 2009. One of our very first programs was an interview with the late Dave McGowan, author of the book Programmed to Kill.

BY REQUEST, I’m pulling an interview from my archive of shows compiled during my time as a talk radio host for the mainstream media. A couple of days ago, a P.I.D. Radio listener suggested that we talk with researcher and author Dave McGowan.

As it happens, back in June of 2007, I interviewed Dave about his disturbing book Programmed to Kill: The Politics of Serial Murder. (I’m still amazed I was allowed to bring guests like Dave onto a fairly typical mainstream talk radio station. And we actually won our time slot for talk radio listeners!)
