Over the recent months, we have been listening, learning and making changes in our own families and wanted to bring this conversation to our community with someone who is actively doing the work to amplify voices that matter. Sahar talks about growing up in Orange County with immigrant parents, her experiences after 9-11 and how we can support the BIPOC friends in our personal lives. We are grateful to Sahar for taking the time to educate us on ways to bring the importance of diversity and antiracism into our daily lives to make a lasting impact today and in the generation of our children. The work truly starts in the home and even further Sahar shares how it starts within.
