    Show notes

Both Boulder County school districts have made strides in improving their graduation and drop-out rates in recent years – especially for low-income students and students of color, who continue to lag their peers. For example, just 60% of economically disadvantaged students graduated on time in Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) in 2010. Last year, 74% did. Joining the conversation are Centaurus High School students Yesica Colin, recent graduate Katie J., and Colorado Youth for a Change representatives Erica Legrand and Christen Brackett, who work on student retention and drop-out recovery in BVSD.
