EP 116 - The Bennington Triangle and Brandon Teena Jun 08, 2020

Show notes

Trigger Warning: In Kerri’s story, there are explicit conversations about rape and sexual abuse involving the LGBTQ+ community. Kerri’s story starts at 29:21

Donna covers the Bennington Triangle, an area of southwestern Vermont where strange things keep happening. The Triangle features a ghost town with a monster in the woods. And an area where people keep going missing without a trace, and seemingly with no explanation.

Kerri then covers the rape and murder of Brandon Teena. This story was the subject of the 1999 film Boys Don’t Cry. Brandon, along with two others were murdered in Nebraska in December 1993. Brandon’s murder, along with others led to increased lobbying for hate crime laws in the US.

If you have any local true crime, local urban legend/lore, ghost stories.. we want them all!! We want to hear from YOU. Especially if you have any funny Ambien stories!

What The What?! Jun 01, 2020

Show notes

This episode is guaranteed to leave you with more questions than when you started. Kerri takes us to Washington DC in 2006. Where Robert Wone is brutally murdered in the night. But no one can agree on who did it. Even from the 911 call things are suspicious. Donna then takes us all the way back to 1800’s Nova Scotia, where someone or something is fucking with Esther Cox in her sleep. But what could be causing her such night time terrors? Be sure to let us know your theories on this one in the Facebook Group

EP 113 - ALIENS AND A COUPLE OF MONSTERS May 18, 2020

Show notes

A warning before we get into Kerri’s story, this one is heavy, like really heavy, and it involves children, so if that’s not for you skip ahead to Donnas story, it starts at 46 minutes and 42 seconds. In the story Kerri once again goes across the pond to cover the Moores murders, it’s the case of Ian Brady and Myra Henley. Some say they’re the most serial killers in the history of the UK.

In Donnas story, we go back to Pascagoula to cover the Pascagoula abduction. Co-workers Charlie and Calvin have an uncomfortable encounter with something that’s out of this world. In the days and years that follow they will both have a very different relationship with what happened that night.
