It’s time for our annual family list, where each of the four of us share some things we are thankful for from the past year. We hope this encourages your family to think about your lists, as well!
Trusting your husband is something that wives know they should do, but it is not always easy. This week on the podcast, Adam and Leah use an article (linked below) to tackle those times when it is not easy to trust.

“Husbands and How to Understand Them” [Like Mother, Like Daughter] NOTE: As we say in the podcast, there are some portions of this article that we strongly disagree with, but the overall message is one that is much needed.
After not being able to have Polishing the Pulpit in 2020 or 2021, this wonderful event is back, and it starts next week. So, to celebrate, Adam and Leah are joined by their children, Mary Carol and Turner, to talk about why each of them is excited about the return of PTP.

In our last episode, dealing with family devotionals with teens in the house, we talked about focusing on certain things you want your children to know before they leave the house. This week, we share some of those things–nowhere near all of them–that we would like to focus on in our house. With just 2-3 years before our children are through with high school, what types of things would we most want them to know?
Maybe by building this list, you will be encouraged to build your own list and focus on certain things in the short time you have with your children.
There are piles of materials available to help families have devotionals when their children are small. As those kids get older, though, it can be easy to run out of ideas. Today, Adam and Leah simply share some things they have tried as parents of teens, and also why it is so important to keep devotionals going, even during these busy years.
Vacation Bible School is in the books at Central. Adam and Leah take this week’s episode to share some tips for coordinating a VBS. Even if your congregation is already done with VBS this year, these are tips you will want to file away for future years.
Marriages need all the help they can get. In this episode, Adam and Leah share some resources–but “non-book” resources–that can be a great help to any marriage. The list, with some links, is below.
