Welcome back! This is day 10 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena—Thursday after Ash Wednesday.
To update you, we have about 1,800 people praying with us daily. We have 1000 of us praying along to the English podcast, and about 800 People are praying along to the Spanish podcast.

S8 Día 9 - Misterios Gloriosos en Petición Feb 22, 2023

Hola Familia.
¡Bienvenidos de nuevo! Este es el día 9 de nuestra Novena del Rosario de 54 días. Hoy termina nuestra primera Novena en Petición y nos quedan 2 Novenas en petición y 3 en agradecimiento.
Hoy es Miércoles de Ceniza, y marca el inicio de la Cuaresma, una periodo de 40 días para observar y conmemorar la pasión, muerte y resurrección de Jesucristo, el hijo de Dios, nuestro Señor. Es el tiempo para purificar nuestras intenciones y arrepentirnos de nuestros pecados. En este tiempo de Cuaresma, el Señor nos invita a aumentar nuestra oración, caridad, y ayunar.
Hay un podcast que me gusta mucho, se llama PREGÚNTALE al Padre Josh. (ASK Father Josh ) Les dejaré el enlace en las notas del programa para que lo escuchen.
El Padre Josh nos invita a ayunar por algo que vamos a sentir, algo que nos afectará y nos llevará a orar más. También nos invita a pasar más tiempo con el Señor ofreciendo los primeros 15 minutos de nuestro día leyendo la Palabra de Dios.
A veces entro a usccb.org, la página de la Conferencia Episcopal de Estados Unidos, para mis lecturas diarias. Me gustan los vídeos de reflexión que aparecen a diario. Este enlace también se los comparto en las notas del episodio.
Por último el Padre Josh nos recuerda que cuando nos dirigimos a nuestro Señor Jesucristo en oración ,nuestra ofrenda también aumenta. Esta caridad es el fruto de nuestra oración. También he incluido el enlace al vídeo del Padre Josh.

S8 Day 9 - Glorious Mysteries in Petition Feb 22, 2023

Hello Family.
Welcome back! This is day 9 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. Today marks the end of our first Novena in Petition. We have 2 more Novenas is petition and 3 in thanksgiving to go.
Today is Ash Wednesday, and it marks the beginning of Lent, a 40-day season to observe and commemorate the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the son of God, our Lord. This is the season to purify our intentions and repent for our sins. In this time of Lent, the Lord invites us to increase our prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
There's a really good podcast called ASK Father Josh. I'll list the link in the show notes. Fr.Josh invites us to fast from something we're going to feel, something that will affect us and draw us to more prayer.
He encourages us to Spend more time with the Lord by offering the first 15 minutes of our day to reading the Word of God.

Sometimes I log on to usccb.org the (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops) website for my daily readings. I like the reflection videos listed daily.h. Ill link st link will also be listed in the show notes.

And lastly Fr. Josh reinforces that when we turn to our Lord Jesus Christ in prayer our Almsgiving also increases. The Alms that we give is the fruit of our prayer. I've also listed the link to Fr. Josh's video

We pray to take time out of our routine to acknowledge the parts of our lives that need forgiveness and change.
We pray to grow in humility and dependence on God.

¡Bienvenido de nuevo! Este es el día 8 de nuestra Novena del Rosario de 54 días.
Hoy es un día antes de Miércoles de Ceniza y mañana comienza la Cuaresma.
La Cuaresma es un tiempo tan importante para los cristianos. Es un período de 40 días de preparación para Celebrar la Resurrección del Señor en Semana Santa.
Hay una hermosa fraze del Papa Benedicto XVI (16):
“La Cuaresma nos estimula a dejar que la Palabra de Dios penetre en nuestra vida y así conocer la verdad fundamental: quiénes somos, de dónde venimos, hacia dónde debemos ir, qué camino debemos tomar en la vida”. - Papa Benedicto XVI.
En este tiempo de Cuaresma, los invito a pedirles a sus familiares y amigos que se unan a nosotros en oración.

Today is the day before Ash Wednesday and lent begins tomorrow. Lent is such an important time for Christians around the world. It is a 40 day period of preparation to Celebrate the Lords Resurrection at Easter.
There's a beautiful quote from Pope Benedict XVI (16)

"Lent stimulates us to let the Word of God penetrate our life and in this way to know the fundamental truth: who we are, where we come from, where we must go, what path we must take in life." -Pope Benedict XVI.

¡Bienvenido de nuevo! Este es el día 7 de nuestra Novena del Rosario de 54 días.
Hoy es la fiesta de Santa Jacinta y Francisco Marto. Los niños de Fátima que recibieron apariciones de Nuestra Santísima Madre., en 1917.
Hay una película sobre apariciones. El nombre de la Película es Fátima dirigida por Marco Pontecorvo.
En sus apariciones, Nuestra Santísima Madre pidió a los niños que aprendieran a leer, escribir y rezar el Rosario "para obtener la paz para el mundo y el fin de la guerra". Los niños debían orar por los pecadores y la conversión de Rusia. El 13 de octubre de 1917, hasta 90.000 personas se reunieron para la última aparición de Nuestra Señora.

Welcome back! This is day 7 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena.
Today is the Feast day of Saint Jacinta and Francisco Marto. The children from Fatima who received apparitions from Our Blessed Mother. in 1917

There's a Movie about apparitions. The name of the Movie is called Fatima directed by Marco Pontecorvo.
In her apparitions, Our Blessed Mother asked the children, Jacinta, Francisco, and Lucia, to learn to read, write, and pray the Rosary "to obtain peace for the world and the end of the war." The children were to pray for sinners and the conversion of Russia. On October 13, 1917, up to 90,000 people gathered for Our Lady's Final Apparition.

Along with you I am doing my best to work on my relationship with God. Today Sunday, I encourage you to go to Mass. Jesus gives himself to us in the Eucharist as spiritual nourishment because he loves us. God is there waiting for you and me. Pray for me I know I'm praying for you.
