Él no quiere exponernos, quiere restaurarnos.

    Y ahora, comencemos.

    S13 Day 9 - Joyful Mysteries in Petition Nov 10, 2025
    Show notes

Hello family, and welcome to Day 9 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I’m your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m so happy you’re here.

Today marks a special moment. We’ve completed our first novena in petition. Nine days of showing up, praying together, and trusting that God is already at work in our lives. Thank you for being part of this journey.

We have listeners praying with us from over 150 countries! Comment or send us a message telling us where you’re praying from. It’s amazing to see how Our Lady is bringing the world together through the Rosary.

This season, we continue praying for peace in the world, for those struggling with addictions, for those in recovery, for the families walking beside them with love and patience, and for the intentions you carry in your heart today.

Today’s reflection is about breaking denial and letting truth in.

Denial can feel safe. It’s that quiet voice that says, “Everything’s fine,” even when our hearts know it isn’t. It shields us from pain, but it also keeps us from healing. Truth, on the other hand, can be uncomfortable, but it’s where freedom begins.

When we invite truth in, we make space for grace to move. We see things as they are, and we let God meet us there, with love, not judgment. He doesn’t want to expose us; He wants to restore us. Mary, our gentle Mother, teaches us how to face truth without fear, to let the light of God’s love shine into the hidden places of our hearts.

So today, we pray for the courage to face the truth, not to shame ourselves, but to step closer to the healing that only comes from God.

Our prayer today is simple: Jesus, help me see the truth with love. Mary, give me the courage to let God’s light into every corner of my heart.

If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself: What truth is God inviting me to face today, and how can I let His love transform it into freedom?

    Let us pray.

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, we bring to you every heart learning to face the truth with faith and humility. Help us walk in the light of your Son, and teach us to trust that truth always leads to freedom.

We pray for peace in the world, for those battling addiction, for those in recovery, and for every person seeking healing through honesty and grace.

Today we pray especially for: Nadine, the souls of Sonny, Juanito, Virginia, Chester, and Ben, Kathleen, Tom, Judith, Michelle, Quanah, Laura, Joshua, Mauro, Carmen, Ana, Carlos, David, Carmen Noemi, Marlene, Briana, Olivia, Samir, Donna, Gina, Grace, the souls of Lupana and Samir, Clara, Florian, Gary, Annamaria, Lynn, Mireya, Gonzalo, David, Elias, Hermelinda, Angela, Caiti, Eoin, Angela G, Siobhain, Stephen, Melise, Beatrice, Katie, Fidel, Emmanuel K, Rosalia, Michael, the Family Perales, Lucero, the Family Dávila Rivas, and the Family Castro Rivas.

If you feel called, please share this novena with someone who needs hope today.
And if you’d like us to pray for you, submit your names or intentions at 54daysofroses.com.

    And now, let us begin.

    With love,
    Maritza Mendez.

Dios no quiere avergonzarnos, quiere abrazarnos.

    S13 Day 8 - Luminous Mysteries in Petition Nov 09, 2025
    Show notes

Hello family, and welcome to day 8 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I’m your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m so glad you’re here.

Before we begin, I have a small favor to ask. If this podcast has brought you peace or helped you grow in prayer, please take a moment to rate us wherever you’re listening.
When you give a rating and hopefully we’ve earned those five stars it helps our podcast reach the top of the search results, so that more people can find us when they’re looking for a Catholic Rosary prayer. Thank you so much for helping us share this mission of prayer and hope.

This season, we continue praying for peace in the world,
for those struggling with addictions, for those in recovery,
for the families who walk beside them with love and patience, and for the intentions you carry in your heart today.

Today, we reflect on God’s mercy being bigger than our shame.

Sometimes, when we fall into sin or weakness, shame whispers that we are unworthy that we’ve gone too far or failed too much. But that is never how God sees us. His mercy is greater than any mistake, stronger than any past,
and deeper than any fear that tries to separate us from His love.

Shame hides. Mercy calls us out of hiding and into healing. God doesn’t want to embarrass us He wants to embrace us.
When we turn back to Him, He runs toward us with open arms, just like the father in the story of the prodigal son.

So today, if your heart feels heavy, let this truth sink in: You are not defined by your past , you are restored by God’s mercy.

    Our prayer today is simple:
Jesus, help me believe that Your mercy is greater than my shame. Mary, bring me closer to the heart of Your Son, where I can rest in His forgiveness and love.

For your journal reflection: What part of my story still carries shame, and how can I invite God’s mercy into that place?

    Let us pray.

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we bring to you every heart weighed down by guilt or regret.
Wrap each one in your motherly love, and lead us to the merciful heart of Jesus.

We pray for peace in the world, for those struggling with addiction, and for every soul seeking forgiveness and healing.

Today we pray especially for: Adolfo, Aimee, Andrea, Antonio, Araceli, Ariana, Bertha, Bodhi, Brianna, Cabarubias Family, Calista, Caroline, Chisom, Chiara, Dasola, Diana, Djoko, Elijah, Emery, Emyco, Esmaylin, Family Carrillo, Family Garces Delgado, Family Palacios Salcedo, Felimon, Fifie, George, Grace, Hilario, Ikechukwu, Jayanti, James, Jesse, Jesús, Joelle, Jorge G., Juan Javier, Junior, Kaitlyn, Liam, Leticia, Linda, Lourdes, Luis, Marlene, MariElena, Mikaela, Michael, Nicholai, Nneka, Nnemka, Nwajiaky Family, Olivia, Owen, Purity, Roach, Roger, Rogelio, Roman, Rose, Saikou, Samuel, Sandra, Scarlett, Susana, and the Cesar & Therese Rivera Family.

    Show notes

Hoy oramos especialmente por: Amy, Andrea, Annete, Bernadette, Brittany, Calandra, Caroline, Charlotte, Christopher, Claire, Cynthia, Devon, Denise, Dominic, Emily, Eric, Finnigan, George, Gillian, Giulian, James, Jade, Joe, John, Johnny, Kelsey, Kelly, Kathleen, Kathryn, Kristina, Lauren, Lillie, Loni, Maribel, Marianne, Marisabel, Max, Mike, Molly, Niall, Nicholas, Noreen, Paul, Quin, Renee, Sarah, Teague, Theresa, Therese, la Familia Cesar y Therese Rivera, la Familia Hall, Toni y Zachary.

    Show notes

Hello family, and welcome to Day 7 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I’m your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m so happy you’re here.

If you haven’t already, I’d love to invite you to pray with us on our YouTube channel. This season, we’ve created beautiful background videos to help you enter into prayer more deeply. You’ll also get to see me before each prayer as I share the day’s reflection and the names we’re praying for together.

This season, we continue praying for peace in the world, and for all those struggling with addictions, for those in recovery, for the families who walk beside them with love and patience, and for the intentions you carry in your heart today.

Today, we reflect on the emptiness that addiction tries to fill. Sometimes what we call “addiction” begins as a deep ache inside, a longing to feel seen, loved, or whole.
It might be a wound from the past, a need for comfort, or a way to escape pain. But no matter how much we try to fill that emptiness with things of the world, it never truly satisfies. Only God can fill that space.
Only His love can bring peace to the restless heart.

So today, instead of hiding our emptiness, we bring it to Him. We let Mary, our Mother, hold us and guide us toward the healing love of her Son.

Our prayer today is simple: Jesus, fill the empty places in our hearts with Your love. Mary, help us trust that God alone can satisfy our soul.

For your journal reflection: What am I trying to fill or fix on my own, instead of letting God heal?

    Let us pray.

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, we bring to you every heart that feels empty or lost. Lead us closer to your Son, the only One who can satisfy our deepest hunger for love and peace.

We pray for peace in the world, for all those battling addiction, and for every person longing to be made whole again in God’s grace.

Today we pray especially for: Amy, Andrea, Annete, Bernadette, Brittany, Calandra, Caroline, Charlotte, Christopher, Claire, Cynthia, Devon, Denise, Dominic, Emily, Eric, Finnigan, George, Gillian, Giulian, James, Jade, Joe, John, Johnny, Kelsey, Kelly, Kathleen, Kathryn, Kristina, Lauren, Lillie, Loni, Maribel, Marianne, Marisabel, Max, Mike, Molly, Niall, Nicholas, Noreen, Paul, Quin, Renee, Sarah, Teague, Theresa, Therese, The Cesar & Therese Rivera Family, the Hall Family, Toni, and Zachary.

    Show notes

Hoy puedes reflexionar y escribir ¿dónde necesito ayuda, y estoy dispuesto o dispuesta a pedírselo a Dios?

    S13 Day 5 - Joyful Mysteries in Petition Nov 06, 2025
    Show notes

Hello family, welcome to Day 5 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena.

This season, we continue praying for peace in the world and for freedom from addictions, for those currently struggling, for those in recovery, for the loved ones who walk with them, and for the intentions you carry in your heart today.

Today, we reflect on the courage to admit our weakness.
Sometimes we feel pressure to hold everything together, to be strong, to stay in control, to do it all on our own. But healing begins when we’re honest with ourselves and with God.

Weakness is not failure. Weakness is the doorway where grace enters. It’s the humble moment when we say, “Lord, I need You.” When we release the need to have it all together, God meets us with strength, mercy, and peace. And our Blessed Mother gently teaches us how to surrender, how to lean on God, and how to trust His timing and His love.

As you journal today, ask yourself: Where do I need help, and am I willing to ask God for it?

    Let us pray.
