This week I’m talking to my friend Shelby Herron of Shelby Herron Beauty and we cover A LOT of ground. Shelby is a transplant from Memphis by way of Ole Miss and started her brand as a concierge spray tanning business which is now growing beyond just a service. She’s steadily growing and doing big things while also being mom to a preschooler. Shelby was inspired to create and launch her first product - a self tanner called Glow Girl - and we talk about that process and her inspiration. Her brand has been featured in Vogue (which is HUGE) and been in the hands and on the skin of countless women who she helps look and feel good from the outside in. We talk about the truths she lives by as a mom and entrepreneur, how heavy parenting can be at times and why it’s so important for moms to refresh and feel confident.

We talk about Diana's story, her path to success -- which by the way, includes a little show called Shark Tank and a little investor named Mark Cuban -- We talk about certain stigmas in fashion and the influencer space and even why she'd love to end up here one day, Diana is a super fan of our 30A area, so she is more than deserving of the 30A Mama title and I know you all will be as inspired by our chat as I've been. Jamie is a true beauty guru having run the gamut from makeup for weddings, commercial shoots and special occasions to lashes, skincare and even permanent makeup like microblading. Her personality is just as pretty as her work and I love how she can keep it real in a space where glossing over is the norm. We dig in and talk about life as a single mom, how she's steadily built her business to an incredible level one face at a time, why we as women often struggle with self-care and why beauty is so much more than skin deep. It's such an incredible chat and I am so thrilled to share it with you.
