Join Jim and Greg as they discuss a Haaretz story quoting a Hamas official arguing that it's time for the terrorist organization to follow the PLO's lead and recognize Israel. Have two months of intense military operations caused some Hamas figures to seriously reconsider their radicalism or is this simply a tactic designed to attract some more international sympathy?
They follow that up with a new poll that shreds the ongoing narrative that there is a wide gulf between Hamas and what the Palestinian people want. The survey shows 72 percent of Palestinians support the Hamas atrocities on October 7, even when considering what has happened since.
Finally, a bit closer to home, they react to a CBS poll showing that no matter how clever lawmakers think they are in naming legislation, many Americans still have no idea the bills exist.

House GOP's Border Demands, Hunter Biden: 2nd Amendment Hero? Youngkin's Arena Deal Dec 13, 2023

Join Jim and Greg as they once again serve up at least two good martinis, and possibly a third.
First, they applaud House Speaker Mike Johnson for demanding major action on border security as part of any deal to continue aid to Ukraine. And Jim fumes that Biden could have done this deal months ago, all to his own political benefit but his refusal to acknowledge the reality at the border is costing him dearly.
They also get a kick out of Hunter Biden trying to avoid his gun charges by claiming the Supreme Court's Bruen decision in 2022 means a gun buyer should no longer have to answer whether he is a current or former drug user. It's a case that puts his own interests at direct odds with his father's prioritites on the Second Amendment.
Finally, they examine the deal Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin seems to have made to lure the Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards to a new home across the river from D.C. They're pleased to see most Virginia taxpayers don't appear to be on the hook for the cost but nothing is finalized yet and there are some other concerns.

Join Jim and Greg as they wince over CNBC's Rick Santelli offering a painful much much-needed explanation of compounding inflation - far from the White House narrative that Biden has it under control. He doesn't.
They also roll their eyes as Al Gore takes a reasonable concern - social media pushing questionable posts to the top of your feed due to the level of engagement - and makes the absurd argument that these posts are damaging to democracy, are the "digital equivalent of the AR-15" and ought to be banned.
Finally, they cringe as the Biden administration fails to reply to family members of remaining hostages in Gaza who asked to attend the lighting of the White House menorah. Meanwhile, the husband of Vice President Harris completely butchers his explanation of Hanukkah.

Milei Slashes Argentina Agencies, Jackson Lee Trounced in Houston, Enlightening Middle East Poll Dec 11, 2023

First, they watch new Argentinian President Javier Milei with great interest, especially after he shuttered 12 of 21 government ministries on his first day in office. What impact will these libertarian principles have on the nation and beyond?
They also breathe a sigh of relief for Houston, Texas. While they have no great expectations for incoming Mayor John Whitmire, they're glad that voters rejected longtime far left Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee by a wide margin.
Finally, they discuss a survey of college students showing 86 percent support the phrase "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free." Yet only 47 percent know which river and sea are involved. And the good news is that the vast majority of students who realized that the chant implies the eradication of Israel then oppose it.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three important martinis, but they begin by reacting to Thursday morning's House censure of New York Democrat Jamal Bowman for deliberately pulling a fire alarm to delay a floor vote a couple of months ago.
Then they cheer a couple of strong moments from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in Wednesday night's debate, including demanding college and universities have more skin in the game when it comes to student loans and citing Calvin Coolidge as a president who inspires him.
They also hammer the Biden administration for balking at efforts by congressional Republicans to address the obviously broken border and tying it to aid for Ukraine and Israel.
Finally, they head back to the debate and address the many dust-ups, usually involving Vivek Ramaswamy against Nikki Haley and Chris Christie.

They also recoil as far-left Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal says she condemns the rampant Hamas rapes of Israelis but then plays "both sides" by equating it to civilian casualties suffered in Gaza when Israel attacks Hamas military assets.
Finally, they hammer John Kerry for declaring he wants to prevent any new coal-fired plants in the world and the U.S. for signing on to a dubious fund supposedly designed to help developing nations recover from climate change - but the United Nations says it will need $250 billion per year by the end of the decade. And they note how a reporter covering the conference in Dubai publicly defended all these elite climate activists taking scores of private jets to the event.
