Hello friends! This is a surprise mini-episode as part of a fun new series I am doing once a month where I introduce you to other wonderful podcasts that might bless and benefit your life.
These shows are all produced by or part of the podcast network that I am apart of, Cloud10 Media. It has been so rewarding for me to collaborate with other podcasters who are working hard to get their important messages out into the world.
Today I am excited to share a little bit about the show Minimal-ish. Minimal-ish is a podcast about striving to live with less of the things that don't matter, more of what does, and pursuing intention in every area of our everyday lives and motherhood. The host, Desirae talks about a realistic version of minimalism that isn't just about simplifying our stuff, but also the other areas of our lives like our calendars, routines, mindset, motherhood, work, finances, and everything in between.
Desirae is a mom to two girls (4 months and 4 years), a high school English teacher, and has been podcasting since 2018. Her passion is sharing what she is learning on the journey of living with less stuff and more intention, along with making space for others to share their stories as well.
For today’s mini episode, we are airing a clip about how oftentimes, clutter represents unmade decisions. Desirae poses some questions to ask yourself while decluttering any area of your home like: Is this item useful to me? Have I used this item in the past in the 1-2 months? Do I have plans to use this item in the near future? Do I have space for this item? Is it a gift? In this clip, you get an idea of Desirae’s thought process for making decisions that we have been putting off, and evaluating what’s really worth keeping.
I’m so glad to be sharing this excerpt from the Minimal-ish podcast. After you listen, be sure to head over to the Minimal-ish feed to listen to the entire episode, which I will link in the show notes so it's easy for you to find.
So with no further ado, here is a clip from Desirae of the Minimal-ish Podcast!
