    It's survive and advance time for the West Virginia University volleyball and men's soccer teams. They'll both compete this weekend in the NCAA championships. A victory by the coach Dan Stratford's soccer team will advance the Mountaineers to soccer's Final Four. The volleyball team is making the program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA tournament.
    On this episode, the "Guys" share thoughts on the busy weekend along and look ahead to the Mountaineer football team's bowl possibilities . They also discuss why the Radford basketball team, which plays at the Coliseum on Saturday, is sneaky-good.

    Following a much-needed open date on the schedule, Neal Brown's squad rallied to win four of its last six games to finish (6-6) in the regular season. The Mountaineers will find out where and who they'll play this coming Sunday.

    That's the question, as WVU prepares for Saturday night's game at Kansas. The Mountaineers (5-6) will meet a Jayhawks team that's enjoying a late season surge. Kansas (2-9) won at Texas in overtime before losing on a last-second field goal last Saturday against TCU.
    Mountaineer running back Leddie Brown needs 91 rushing yard to eclipse 1,000 for the second consecutive year.

    WVU Football - Mountaineers Host Texas Preview (Episode 330) Nov 18, 2021

    The Mountaineer football team plays its last home game Saturday when the Texas Longhorns visit Milan Puskar Stadium.
    WVU may have played ten games, but it’s still difficult to figure out how the Mountaineers will perform. Despite a 4-6 record, West Virginia could still earn a bowl invitation or suffer its second losing season in the last three years.
    Like West Virginia, Texas has been unpredictable. The Longhorns won their first four games and have lost their last six. Texas (4-6) arrives in Morgantown both mentally and physically depleted. Star running back Bijan Robinson is one of several Longhorns who will miss the game with injuries.
