What Does "Born Again" Actually Mean? | John 3 Oct 19, 2026
    Show notes

What does it actually mean to be born again? And why would Jesus say it to the most religious man in the room? If you've ever felt like you're doing everything right and still running on empty, Nicodemus's story is for you.

Nicodemus knew more about God than almost anyone alive. He was a Pharisee, a teacher, a member of the ruling council. And one night, he went looking for Jesus because he suspected there was more. In this message from John 3, Pastor Misha unpacks what Jesus told him: you can know a lot about God without actually knowing Him. You can change your behavior without a changed heart. And the new life Jesus offers isn't something you earn by trying harder. It's something you receive.

We'll also follow Nicodemus through his three appearances in the Gospel of John: curious in John 3, quietly speaking up for Jesus in John 7, and finally showing up with a costly act of devotion in John 19. His story is proof that you don't have to have all the answers before you take a step toward Jesus.

This is the final week of our series, Who Needs God? The answer we keep landing on is all of us.

πŸ“– Scripture: John 3:1–17, John 7:45–52, John 19:38–42, Numbers 21

The Rich Young Ruler: The One Thing He Couldn't Let Go Oct 12, 2026
    Show notes

A woman climbed into an outhouse tank to get her Apple Watch back. She got the watch. She couldn't get out. In this message on the rich young ruler from Mark 10, Tony asks a hard question: what would you climb in for, and what if success is one of the biggest threats to your faith?
The rich young ruler had it all figured out. He was wealthy, respected, and genuinely good. He ran to Jesus asking what he still had to do to inherit eternal life. Jesus looked at him, loved him, and named the one thing he lacked. He walked away sad.
We look at what that "one thing" really was, why inheritance is never earned but given through relationship, and what Jesus meant when he said it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for the rich to enter the kingdom of God. The point was never poverty. It was always worship. What you refuse to surrender is what owns you.

How to Forgive Someone Who Doesn't Deserve It Oct 05, 2026
    Show notes

How do you forgive someone who doesn't deserve it? Pastor Dom brings a folder on stage that holds every hurt his daughter experienced before she turned five, and he's honest about how angry it makes him. Then he explains why he's still choosing to forgive. In week two of Who Needs God?, we look at one of the darkest stories in the Bible: David and Bathsheba in 2 Samuel 11.
David, the man God called "a man after my own heart," stays home from war, takes another man's wife, and covers it up with murder. A highlight reel only tells half the story, and David's other half is hard to read. But when the prophet Nathan holds up a mirror, David repents, and God forgives him. That's the turn: we're all David at some point. And if we've received forgiveness, we're called to extend it.
Dom unpacks what forgiveness is and what it isn't. It is not reconciliation. It doesn't mean going back, pretending it didn't hurt, or erasing consequences. It means releasing the debt, because bitterness hurts you more than it hurts them.

Does God Actually See Me? What Hagar's Story Says Sep 28, 2026
    Show notes

Have you ever wondered if anyone actually notices you? Not the version everyone sees, but the one carrying everything underneath? There's a name for God in the Bible given by someone who felt completely invisible: El Roi, the God who sees me.
In Genesis 16, Hagar has no voice, no say, and no one on her side. She runs into the desert, and nobody goes looking for her. Nobody except God. He finds her by a spring along the road, calls her by name, asks her a question, and listens. She walks away with her dignity restored and gives God a name no one else in Scripture ever does. This message traces that same pattern through the life of Jesus. He kept moving toward people who felt overlooked and forgotten, and on the cross he proved once and for all that your story matters to God.

Deconstructing your faith isn't the end (here's why) Sep 21, 2026
    Show notes

Faith deconstruction doesn't have to mean losing your faith. If you've been quietly wrestling with doubts β€” questioning what you were taught, wondering if God is even there, afraid to say any of it out loud β€” you're not walking away. You might finally be building something real.

In this message from our new series Who Needs God?, we walk through the story of Saul on the road to Damascus and the years after it β€” because Paul's transformation wasn't a single flash of light. It was a long process of tearing down a faulty picture of God and rebuilding his life on Jesus. Our teaching pastor shares his own story of the night he sat on top of a parking garage and told God he was done β€” and how that turned out to be the beginning, not the end. Healthy deconstruction always leads somewhere: tear down what opposes Jesus, then rebuild on Christ. And the truth underneath all of it β€” the people who think they don't need God are exactly the ones He's still pursuing.

Why You Feel So Alone (Even When You're Not) Sep 14, 2026
    Show notes

You can have a full calendar, a full house, and people all around you β€” and still feel
completely alone. If you've ever wondered why you feel so isolated even when you're never actually by yourself, the answer might be the mask you've learned to wear: the "I'm fine," the "I've got it handled," the version of yourself you think people need to see. The problem is, the mask that hides you is also the thing keeping anyone from truly knowing you β€” and you can't feel like you belong somewhere you've never let yourself be known.
In the final week of our "You Belong Here" series, we walk through Philippians 3, where the Apostle Paul lets go of the polished, impressive version of himself and finds

How Do You Want to Be Remembered? Sep 07, 2026
    Show notes

How do you want to be remembered? Not someday, at the end β€” but for the way you're actually living right now. In week 3 of You Belong Here, we sit with one honest question long enough to let it reframe everything: a full life and a life that matters are not the same thing. Walking through Philippians 2:19-30, we meet two people the Apostle Paul couldn't stop talking about β€” Timothy and Epaphroditus β€” and one thing sets them apart: they spent themselves on others. From a first-century prison, to William and Catherine Booth in the slums of 19th-century London, to Jesus tying a towel around his waist and washing feet, the pattern holds. The lives we remember are the ones that got poured out for people. This is a message about real biblical community β€” the kind where you don't have to clean up the house first β€” and about a question worth stopping for: who's actually at your table? If you've been running on empty, doing it all and still feeling unseen, start here.

this is why you feel alone...(even while surrounded by people) Aug 31, 2026
    Show notes

You can have a full life with work, kids, a packed calendarβ€”and still feel completely alone. If you've ever wondered why you feel like you don't belong, even in a room full of people, this message is for you.d
In this message from our series You Belong Here, Maggie walks through Philippians 2 to answer a question a lot of us are quietly carrying: where do I actually belong? The answer isn't another thing to add to your schedule. It's the surprising truth that because of Jesus, we belong with each otherβ€”and that God, as Psalm 68 puts it, sets the lonely in families. It's an honest look at why real community is so hard to find, what humility has to do with it, and how belonging starts before you have anything figured out.

Why You Feel Like You Don't Belong Anywhere Aug 24, 2026
    Show notes

Ever feel like you don't belong anywhere β€” known by everyone, actually seen by no one? This message kicks off a new series in Philippians about what real belonging takes, and why the thing most of us want is also the thing we're most afraid of: being fully known. Paul wrote the book of Philippians from a prison cell, cut off from the people he loved β€” and yet he'd never felt more connected to them. That's the surprise at the heart of this message: belonging was never about proximity. It's about being known.

Misha walks through Philippians 1 and the honest tension underneath our need to belong β€” the labels and names we carry, the exhausting work of keeping up an image, and the new identity Jesus offers that you don't have to earn or perform for. If you've been holding people at a distance because being known feels risky, this is for you.

Peacemaker vs. Peacekeeper: Why Keeping the Peace Isn't Peace Aug 17, 2026
    Show notes

There's a difference between a peacemaker and a peacekeeper β€” and most of us have been a peacekeeper our whole lives without realizing it. In this final message of The Good Life, we sit in Matthew 5:9: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." If you've ever kept the peace by staying quiet, smoothing it over, or sweeping it under the rug, this one is for you.

Keeping the peace can look calm on the outside while nothing underneath is actually whole. The Bible has a fuller word for peace β€” shalom β€” that means wholeness and restoration, not just the absence of conflict. Which means real peace sometimes asks us to step toward the hard conversation instead of around it: in our marriages, our friendships, our health, our finances. This message unpacks what Jesus actually meant, why "being nice" isn't the same as being at peace, and how peace stops being something you chase and starts being Someone you know.
