The Child who will be Victorious and usher in a rule of hope and salvation (Jesus) While the politics and story is a little hard, the analogies used of the children help us see the vision of the Lord and His saving grace.

First, a few pointers about poetry, specifically Hebrew Poetry 1. Short lines 2. Doesn't rhyme, but is concise 3. Parallelism. It might deepen, enhance, or even contrast Then, 2 Ne 15.... Feel the emotion, the lament, the Lord's love and care....

    64. Nephi & Isaiah Part 4, The Day of the Lord Feb 19, 2020

Let's dive back into Isaiah We have done some prep work, so let's talk about THE DAY. When God will come and bring salvation to ALL NATIONS! 2 Ne 12 starts with a vision of what it will be like! 2 New 14 ends with the vision of...the same thing And in the middle we get a poem about the pride that brings all people, and nations, down.
