Muckey Landing

Welcome to Muckey Landing, Delaware, a place mostly known for being not too far from someplace you’d rather be. While you’re here, stop by the Muckey Landing Market, Diner and Hardware Emporium at the corner of St. Jones and Broad, and say hi to proprietors Virgil Slatter and Harmon Truesdale. If it’s Tuesday, try Harmon’s bologna special. Then sit back and enjoy this award-winning full-cast comedy fiction sitcom, comin’ at you in the tradition of Lum and Abner, I Love Lucy, and The Jack Benny Show. Well, it would be just like those shows if their characters smoked, drank and cussed. Prepare your funny bones, ’cause we’re gonna do our best to tickle ’em!

In Seasons 1 and 2, follow Bruce O’Dea, a sixteen-year-old, gay Junior who is still in the closet.  Taking place in the early 2000’s, Bruce struggles to accept his identity as his religious-leaning parents push to enroll him, without warning, in an out-of-state Christian Science boarding school.

In Season 3, follow Tommy Guiterrez, a D1 college tennis player, who moves back home to Texas after facing some tragic events at the end of his Freshman year.  While there, he begins coaching teens in order to get back up on his feet.

Brinkley is a four part audio drama podcast, set in the 1920’s and 30’s, about a quack doctor/politician who first became famous for his cure for impotence: implanting goat testicles into human testicles. Hosted by Dan Butler, known best for playing Bulldog on Frasier, starring Tony Torn as Brinkley, and produced by Untitled Theater Company No.61, a Theater of Ideas based in New York. Written and directed by Edward Einhorn. Each episode also contains a short interview with an expert about the background of the story, including the history of country music.

The World to Come

2020 WEBBY AWARD HONOREE

In a post-apocalyptic world with no internet or electricity, five disparate factions vie for dominance in the city-state of Fiveboro. Each tribe worships at the altar of the bygone pop-culture references of an earlier time, and relishes the stories of film and television they’ve never actually seen. The Fansci Folk live in a Sci-Fi/Fantasy cosplay kingdom, the Escandalistas invoke the drama of the Telenovelas, The Criterione Collective praises the independent Art Film, the Snookis favor “reality” over fiction and the Hepburners prefer their stories told in black and white. When a powerful figure who calls himself The Cardinal invites the leaders of the factions to his Roost, the announcement he makes threatens to shake Fiveboro to its very core and upend the peaceful detente that has ruled the realm for over a decade.
