Style isn’t what you wear. It’s how you build your life.
House of Style is a show about the habits, decisions, and taste that shape an intentional life: work, health, money, creativity, relationships, home, the city you live in, and yes, clothes.
Host Grant Alexander has spent 13 years as a stylist, dressing founders, executives and athletes for the moments that matter. The strange part is that almost none of that work is really about clothing. It’s about how someone wants to be seen, what they’ve decided matters, and the small choices they make on any ordinary day. So that’s the conversation here, with builders, artists, musicians, chefs, and people who are very good at something, and every episode is built to be useful: a real story, a few ideas worth stealing, and one thing you can actually do this week.
No hustle. No hacks. No product pushing. Just thoughtful conversations and useful style.

Public Health is Dead is an award-winning public health advocacy show. It’s a forward-thinking autopsy on how we’ve f*cked up in public health. How do we prepare for future pandemics while we’re already in the thick of one? And how do we reinvent systems that place some of us closer to death?
Through examining our past successes and failures, often through the lens of COVID, we plot a route out of apathy and denial towards health liberation for all. You’ll hear unusual tales of how we’ve battled infectious disease throughout history and mind-stretching interviews with undaunted public health advocates today.
This podcast is your anti-establishment field guide to surviving in the new age of pandemics — full of vision, hope, and a little punk rock attitude. Public Health is Dead is a eulogy for the field as we know it and a gathering of voices to map out where we go next.

Fans of the movie “Free Willy” are outraged to learn that the real whale who played Willy lives in a tiny pool at an amusement park in Mexico City. So well-intentioned experts embark on an epic science experiment to try to teach one celebrity orca how to be free — while the world watches.

“Generation: The media we love & how it shapes us” is a podcast series from Connecticut Public. Each season tells the origin story of a beloved cultural touchstone, asks what keeps it alive across generations, and explores how it shapes who we’ve become.
From the creators of “Generation: Barney” and “Generation: Gilmore Girls” comes “Generation: Baby-Sitters Club”. This season we revisit “The Baby-Sitters Club” book franchise and ask what it means 40 years later. Over five episodes, we learn about how the paperbacks shaped the world of children’s publishing, from the writers and editors who brought them to life. We hear from creators and actors about how it’s reaching new audiences through graphic novels and on-screen adaptations, and why we cherish these stories that take the tender years between elementary school and high school seriously.
In season two, “Generation: Gilmore Girls” revisited the popular TV series and asks why it still resonates 25 years after its premiere. We learn how the show shaped some of the actors who worked on it, the fans who watch it, and the place that inspired it. It’s about the television that comforts us and helps us become who we are, from the state that inspired the whole phenomenon: Connecticut.
In season one, “Generation: Barney” explored the media we loved as kids and how it shapes us. It’s about the purple dinosaur, but it’s also about music and love and backlash and toys and nostalgia. Most of all, it’s about the television that helps us become who we are, from the station that helped launch “Barney” into the world.
