Movement is a podcast, radio series and live show that tells stories of global migration through music. Hosted by Ethiopian-American singer Meklit Hadero, the show is a meditation on the large-scale forces at play in individual lives. Issues of citizenship, identity, belonging, and borders are explored through the experiences of artists themselves: two brothers sharing one guitar, a daughter trying on her father’s shoes, the lineage of a drum, and the sounds of a grandmother’s backyard.
Between audio books? Curious about the writers themselves? Listen to full-length sessions from the Bay Area Book Festival, where readers and writers meet each year in Berkeley, CA, to engage with their favorite authors, including Pulitzer Prize winners, chefs, and activists, to discuss writing, race, love, mystery, and more.

Covert narcissistic abuse crushes one’s soul. This podcast is devoted to understanding covert narcissistic abuse, its effect on the victims, and how to heal.
Innocent people are getting murdered. Lawyers live in safehouses, and a princess is in hiding. This is Europe today—it just might be the world’s next narco-state. Over the past decade, the historic European ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp have turned into global gateways for cocaine. Think Miami in the 1980s — but with even more drugs, and much shittier weather. In this six-part podcast series from Brazen, host Mitchell Prothero explores Europe’s cocaine crisis through the dramatic stories of cartel leaders, cops, journalists, and the victims caught in the middle. From RPG attacks on newspaper offices to the slaughter of entire families, the war on drugs has arrived on Europe’s shores. And a lot of people are making a lot of dirty money. Reporting from Antwerp and Amsterdam, Brazen goes deep inside this crazy under-reported story. Gateway is a Project Brazen production. Stu Burguiere and Dave Landau team up with a simple goal: figure out what’s actually funny about news and politics—then take it a layer deeper. Stu brings the big policy brain, Dave brings the stand-up edge, and together, they tear through headlines, culture, and political chaos with analysis, mockery, and plenty of absurdity. It’s what happens when serious topics meet two guys who probably shouldn’t have microphones.
*** Named one of the best podcasts of 2023 by The New Yorker, Time, The Atlantic, Apple, Vogue, the CBC, and Lifehacker. ***Classy is a collection of surprising stories, juicy and uncomfortable interviews, and engaging segments that explore the ways that class infiltrates our day-to-day lives. In the host seat is Jonathan Menjivar – a working-class Latino kid who started working in media and became someone who likes oysters, wears cashmere socks, and is very conflicted about all of it.
The Jim Gardner podcast: “More To Explore” will be exactly what the title suggests, an opportunity for this celebrated broadcast journalist to explore compelling topics and individuals who have a fast grip on Jim’s attention. Many, if not most, podcasts are focused on extraordinarily specific topic areas, in fact, that’s the advantage of the podcast platform. Are you looking for a podcast on pre-owned catalytic converters? Don’t be surprised if you find more than one! But this podcast is 180 degrees the opposite. Jim feels blessed to have the chance to explore a wide range of topics that interest him: the current combative state of our politics and its threat to our democracy, history, music, especially as written for the Broadway stage, sports and striving for greatness, public health and our desperate need to stay ahead of the next biological calamity, literature, and popular culture.
Conversations with artists exploring grief and hope in their work.
Following the release of Michael J Tinker’s own album exploring loss and hope (‘When There Are No Words’ 2023) he decided to embark on this new podcast interviewing other artists who have looked at similar themes. Chatting to Christian authors, songwriters and visual artists Michael discusses what draws them to this difficult topic, how they navigate stewarding both their own story and other people’s, and how they seek to honestly portray the Christian journey through this life to eternity. And despite (or maybe because of) the difficult subject, these are truly uplifting conversations.
In the first series Michael interviews author Doug McKelvey (‘Every Moment Holy‘), author and songwriter Andrew Peterson (The Wingfeather Saga, ‘Is He Worthy?’, The Burning Edge of Dawn), painter Ally Gordon (Morphe Arts, ‘Why Art Matters‘), author Hannah Hess (Dark Star), songwriter Sara Groves (Floodplains), writer and artist Sophie Killingley (‘Draw Near‘) and author and painter Jamin Still (who’s candle image you can see on the album cover).
There will be lots of book giveaways as well as special 10ofthose.com discount codes for listeners.
This podcast is sponsored by 10ofthose. Their vision is to help everyone in the church to read books that excite them about Jesus and to give away books that point others to Him.

Welcome to The Flaky Biscuit Podcast! Each episode, award-winning baker, Bryan Ford, welcomes fellow chefs, comedians, actors, musicians, change makers and more to his kitchen table. The guest’s favorite, most nostalgic meal sets the tone for the stories of their childhood, growth, failure, triumph, and everything in between. These meals could be anything from a homemade version of a packaged baked good like a Twinkie, to re-creations of a special family gumbo. Bryan will do his best to make these from SCRATCH! Bryan’s goal is to elicit the Proust Effect for his guests, where special memories are triggered by food. Guaranteed for lots of laughs, Bryan doesn’t always get the meal quite right, but they always have fun, get real, and share something delicious.
