Sex Love & Murder – AAJ Productions / Emash Digital

Welcome to Sex Love & Murder, where investigative true crime journalist Aphrodite Jones offers up murder cases that break every American taboo. How do love relationships turn from good to evil without people ever realizing it? This podcast will deal with murders involving love triangles, twisted love affairs, cheating scandals, and stalking, you name it. It will have you thinking about the lies men tell women, and the lies women tell men, all in the name of love. Together with co-host Mike Ferguson, SEX LOVE & MURDER examines the motives, the jealousy, and the insanity that hides beneath every murder. In her candid and sometimes amusing way, Jones will banter about these bone-chilling crimes, giving listeners an insider’s perspective on what it’s like to come face-to-face with a psycho-killer, how it feels to meet the victims’ family, and how a bizarre “criminal chemistry” can develop in the most unlikely of circumstances. The World Wanderers Podcast

We’re Amanda & Ryan and we’re the hosts of The World Wanderers podcast. We’re a traveling couple originally from Alberta, Canada with a love of exploring the world, eating great food (mostly Mexican food, if we’re being honest), learning new languages, and meeting new people. The World Wanderers podcast is a travel diary of our adventures since we started traveling together in 2011.

We take you with us as we travel through Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand as 22-year old budget backpackers looking for the best party hostel. We take you with us to South America where we go through some our deepest personal transformations. We take you with us as we move to a small town in the Canadian Rocky Mountains and take a massive career pivot. We take you with us to the southern US where we lived for a year. We take you through Asia as we navigate the world of “digital nomad life”. We take you on all our adventures in Mexico, which is the country we both feel most at home in the world.

And the adventures don’t stop there. With each new place we visit, food we try, and culture that we fall in love with (or maybe don’t fall in love with), we share that with you. The evolution of how we travel has changed dramatically since the beginning, but what hasn’t changed is our love for exploring the world.

Join us every other Thursday for new episodes of The World Wanderers!

Dr Janina Ramirez – Art Detective

Art is the truest expression of the workings of the mind, free from learned language. More than that, it is the visual expression of culture, politics, society, religion, emotion, zeitgeist, channeled through the brush, chisel, or hands of creative individuals. Understanding art allows us to understand history: to pin it with images, and pepper it with the faces, colours, drama and expression of its time. This series is designed to give bite-sized insights into the world of Art History, bringing one image to life across a wide-ranging discussion with experts. History is never far from view, so each image will be expanded to sit within the cultural and historical context that produced it. Presented by Janina Ramirez Produced by Dan Morelle

Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
