The Adrift on Purpose Podcast

We are Lis Hubert & Meghan Seawell, and we started Adrift on Purpose because we’re both interested in what it means—and what it takes—to live a life of choice vs. a life of obligation. What does that look like, both for ourselves and for others? So, we want to interview people who have made interesting choices and crafted unique lives, to find out what challenges, decisions, and forms of guidance they’ve encountered along the way. What makes them all similar? What can we emulate? When we’re not interviewing people, we want to use the time to talk about our own lives and challenges. What are we wrestling with, and where are we trying to go? What interesting things have we encountered in the world that are shaping our thinking this week? Our plan with Adrift on Purpose is to alternate between conversations with interesting people, and conversations between us (THE MOST INTERESTING PEOPLE). We don't expect to find answers, but we hope to gradually get a little smarter along the way. Read More

Conversations with Others

"I wanted to create a space to hold honest, open, candid conversations where no subject is off limits or taboo, with some of the best and brightest of our lifetime. I’m interested in delving into the minds of ‘Others’. The odd ones out, the queer kin, the bi-racial, gender-fluid, outspoken, courageous and crazy phenomenons who fall outside of the status-quo, dance joyfully in the margins of ‘Otherness’ and have managed to make an authentic, impactful mark against all odds. Maya Angelou said “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you”. It is the gems within these stories that give me strength to stand in the messiness of my own journey while carrying on in celebration of myself. The lessons I have learned have been invaluable. And If I can leave you all with one thing, it’s this...Celebrate Yourself And Love Each Other." - Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman Read More

Mike Drop

The Mike Drop podcast is hosted by former Navy SEAL, Mike Ritland. It is a not so politically correct discussion of wide ranging topics that span from government, politics and war to health and fitness, from guns and survival skills to food and nutrition with music, BBQ and a touch of everything else in between. This is THE platform that is completely raw, totally unfiltered and in your face, while still intellectually sound with good intuitive dialogue between A-holes that know what they’re talking about.
