SDP came from the inspiring project that partnered John Medeski and Jeff Firewalker together known as Saint Disruption. After working on a piece with renowned spoken word artist Umar Bin Hassan, John and Jeff decided to give a broader platform for connecting the sound to the word. This gave birth to the Saint Disruption Podcast.
