Book of Mormon Prophecy

The Book of Mormon contains many prophecies of the time immediately before the coming of Jesus Christ to reign on the earth. Many of these prophecies are based on the words of Isaiah. Nephi, Jacob, and Jesus use his words as a point of reference to describe an endtime scenario. That scenario depicts the pivotal role Latter-day Saints will perform in restoring the house of Israel—the Jews, Israel’s Ten Tribes, and the Lamanites. Serving as spiritual kings and queens under the terms of the Davidic Covenant, these servants of God deliver them spiritually and physically in a time of worldwide calamities. Learn more of what the Book of Mormon is telling us in the light of Isaiah’s prophecies and how they clarify much of what was unclear to us before. Read More

Chasing the Beauty with Mike Donehey

Fund conversations that matter: donate.accessmore.com

Mike Donehey is a recording artist, author of the bestseller Finding God’s Life for My Will, speaker and a founding member of the band Tenth Avenue North.

Mike has seen his fair share of the unexpected. Following a potentially fatal car crash as a teen, Mike learned to play the guitar while still in bed recovering from his injuries. Learning the guitar gave birth to songwriting, and that songwriting led to the formation of the band Tenth Avenue North. One of the most loved and successful artists in Christian music, Tenth Avenue North radio favorites include Love Is Here, By Your Side, You Are More, Losing, Worn, I Have This Hope, and the multi-week no. 1 smash Control (Somehow You Want Me).

Despite the group’s widespread popularity, Tenth Avenue North’s members sensed at the beginning of 2020 that they each had their own unique roads to follow. Mike seized this opportunity to expand as a storyteller, communicator and thought instigator wherever his voice can be heard. In addition to recording his first solo album and preparing his second book, Mike brings you this podcast, Chasing the Beauty.

Each Chasing the Beauty episode will look for God and joy in the unexpected places. To quote Ann Voskamp, “The secret to joy is to keep seeking God where we doubt He is.” Mike and his guests will look at those places - the heartbreaking, the awkward, the uncomfortable, the weird, and the wild - to find God. And where God can be found, joy can be found as well (“Those who sow with tears will reap with shouts of joy.” Psalm 126).

Didaché

Didaché is the Greek word for teaching or doctrine. All Christians profess to love Jesus but few seem to have a passion for doctrine and theology. The Didaché podcast is dedicated to teaching sound doctrine and theology for it is by this that our knowledge of God is deepened which, in turn, enables our love for God to be deepened. The Bible says, "And this I pray, that your love would abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment" (Philippians 1:9). This podcast will discuss doctrine, theology, hermeneutics, and how to apply all of these disciplines so that we can live lives obedient to God's word and for His glory. We will see how, far from being boring, there is nothing more exciting and practical for the Christian than to both know and apply sound doctrine. Most of the programs will simply be straight teaching from Justin but from time to time he will also interview special guests on the program, deal with current theological issues as they arise, and will dedicate some time to answering your questions that you send in. This podcast will not have all of the bells and whistles of some of the others, but what it lacks in sound effects we trust will be made up in content. Justin Peters is a full-time itinerant preacher dedicated to expository preaching and biblically engaging many of the prevalent false doctrines that seek to "deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting" (Romans 16:17). He has earned both a Master of Divinity (2000) and Master of Theology (2002) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has preached in churches and conferences in 43 states and 27 countries. He and his wife, Kathy, live in Bozeman, MT, and are members of Grace Bible Church. Read More
