The Recipe with Kenji and Deb

Hi, we’re Deb Perelman (Smitten Kitchen) and J. Kenji López-Alt (Serious Eats, The Food Lab, The Wok). We’re professional home cooks, which means we can - and will - make the same meal 57 times in a row on the quest for the perfect recipe. Is it crazy? For us, no, because we do this for a living. But for you? Yes, probably. Which is why you should listen to The Recipe with Kenji and Deb. You'll hear us talk about what goes into writing our recipes — the techniques we test, the ingredients we taste — so that you can be on your way to creating your own perfect recipe. Whether you're cooking meatloaf, pancakes, or chicken soup in all its forms, we got you, and you've got this.

The Recipe with Kenji and Deb is a proud member of Radiotopia from PRX, a network of independent and listener-supported podcasts. Discover audio with vision at radiotopia.fm.

The Julie Jeppson Podcast

Welcome to the JULIE JEPPSON podcast. So glad you're here. After a heartbreaking loss in the summer of 2022, my 8 kids and I are picking up the pieces of our former lives and moving forward. In this podcast, I interview Gritty Mamas from all over who have pushed, pulled, endured, persisted, insisted, and MOMINATED some pretty impossible burdens. These women are survivors and their stories deserve to be heard. My hope is that you can hear their stories and walk away inspired and uplifted by their capacity to KEEP GOING, no matter what. Because you can too. There's also hidden gems within this podcast with my own children, my parents, mental health experts, spiritual health and wellness mentors, relationship specialists, and other exceptional GRITTY professionals. I come from Grit. My ancestors are the definition of it. So here, I'm taking back my name and my power and I intend to use it to help you remember, too, of the gritty mamas who have gone before you, who will come behind you, but most of all, the gritty mama inside you. Please note that this podcast features themes of drinking, violence, cursing, and graphic descriptions of sexual acts and desires, and is not suitable for listeners under the age of 18. Some episodes also contain themes which may be triggering, and feature content warnings. Please take care of yourself, and don’t hesitate to ask for help if you need it.

Dance Dad With John Corella

As one of the co creators/executive producers of the hit reality show Dance Moms, this podcast will be a safe space to talk about all things Dance. I will have meaningful conversations with guests from the show Dance Moms, as well as discussing the colorful, magical Dance competition world that I grew up competing in and am still a part of teaching and choreographing for. Dancing and being in the film and TV Industry for over 40 years I will be talking with those who who have inspired me and we will share our knowledge on what worked, what didn’t and why. Growing up a young feminine boy who loved to dance was extremely challenging in a lot of ways. Now as gay man I will have some heartfelt meetings with people in the LGBTQ community to share about this and the suffering that goes on currently with adults and kids and how we can help and most importantly heal it.

Put your dance shoes on every other Friday when this podcast comes out! Listen. Be Bold. Be Fierce.

Sincerely,
John Corella
