Grown-Up Bedtime Stories

Grown-Up Bedtime Stories was created because the listeners of my CALM+COZY Podcast kept telling me to record bedtime stories for them, and the number one comment I received was that my voice was calming enough to relax them before bed. I am not a professional voiceover artist and I've never done this before, so don't expect perfection!

The point of a bedtime story is to help you unwind, not necessarily to put you to sleep, but I end each episode with music that fades out in case you DO fall asleep. Episodes are posted on an every-other-week schedule, on Mondays, and vary in length so you can choose how long an episode you need.

Reviewers have said that I read too fast, and also too slow, that I'm too monotone but with not enough inflection, which is confusing, so I'll keep doing what I'm doing and if you like it I hope you'll stay. If you like this you might like my other podcast, CALM+COZY, which focuses on insomnia, rest, and self-care topics. I can also be found at my website, www.bethwyattcoaching.com.

Westside Fairytales: Horror and Dark Fiction Stories

Welcome to The Westside Fairytales Podcast

Demons, desperate souls, and eldritch horrors

We at the Westside Fairytales have written a story for you. Not you in that broad sense where you just means anybody, but you, Dear Listener. We know all about you. What makes you nervous, what sickens you, what keeps you from leaving your house sometimes for the maddening worry of it. And we’ve put it in a story. A story we’ll read for you.

These strange and varied original tales will linger long after you've finished listening.

The Westside Fairytales horror and dark fiction podcast is an award-winning audiodrama written, read, and produced by author Tyler Bell. New episodes are released every month and can be found at westsidefairytales.com, or wherever you listen to podcasts.

The first 4 seasons are comprised of a variety of short stories. Seasons 5 and 6 each are a season-long novel broken into episodic chapters. While each story can stand on its own, all content takes place in the extended Westside Fairytales universe, with continuing themes, characters, and connections.

The Horror and Lit Club episodes are discussions, interviews, and reviews that are separate from the regular fiction episodes.

Thanks for listening! Subscribe and review us on Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.

Buy our short-story collection The Eyes Beneath My Father's House on Amazon and pre-order Tyler's debut novel West By God from The Henlo Press!
