The New Moon in Libra (#380) Oct 04, 2026

Show notes

This week we catch our breath. After twelve transits last week, we're working with four, highlighted by the New Moon in Libra at 17°, the Leo degree, on Saturday, October 10.

Mercury joins Venus Retrograde at 8° Scorpio to open the week, bringing conscious awareness to where our most intimate relationships are lifting us or draining us. Mars in Leo Sextile Uranus in Gemini gives us the courage to acknowledge what we're afraid of and see things from a different perspective. Then on the same day as the New Moon, Venus Retrograde in Scorpio Squares Mars in Leo at 7°, the Libra degree, and the goddess of love and the god of war square off.

Scorpio is where we get intimate. Libra comes first for a reason. Before we share a secret, our body, or our money with anyone, what do we want, and what are we willing to give? That's what this New Moon is asking us to get clear about.

So what's at 17° in your astrological code?

Mercury in Scorpio and Venus Retrograde in Scorpio (#379) Sep 27, 2026

Show notes

This week we're working with 12 transits, highlighted by Mercury's transit into Scorpio and Venus beginning its retrograde in Scorpio at the Scorpio degree. Before Mercury settles into Scorpio for more than two months, the Sun and Mercury in Libra ask us to look at what's out of balance in our relationships, and at what each of us has at stake. A story about Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson shows how different those stakes can be. Then Mercury squares both planetary rulers of Scorpio on the same day, and there's no hiding. We're also asking what's at 29° in your astrological code, as Chiron and the Nodes linger at the final degree. What happens when we share the parts of ourselves we're most afraid to share?

Mercury in Libra, Venus in Scorpio and the New Moon in Virgo: The Courage to Be Vulnerable (#376) Sep 07, 2026

Show notes

This week we're working with nine transits, and four of them land on Thursday. Mercury moves into Libra, Venus moves into Scorpio, Uranus stations Retrograde in Gemini at 5°41', and the New Moon in Virgo arrives at 18°25'.

So the question this week is what's at 5° in your Astrological Code, because Uranus is going to sit on that degree for months.

I'm also sharing the good, the sad, and the ugly from my own week, including a wake-up call I didn't want and couldn't ignore.

Venus and Mercury are about to do something with each other that I couldn't find anywhere else in the ephemeris. There's something brewing here, and it has to do with what it costs us to be vulnerable, and what opens up when we are anyway.

Mars in Cancer, New Moon Solar Eclipse in Leo: The Courage to Listen (#372) Aug 09, 2026

Show notes

This week we're working with twelve transits, and we're hammering them hard right out of the gate. Ten of them land in the first three days. Two headliners set the tone: Mars moves into Cancer, the Sign of its fall, pulling us back toward home, family, and the past for six weeks... and the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Leo at 20°, the Scorpio degree, asking us to open our hearts and look honestly at the intimate relationships that shaped us. Running quietly beneath all of it is a single question: do we have the courage to actually listen, to sit with a perspective that isn't our own, to feel what it stirs up in the heart, and to stay in the conversation anyway? We'll slow it down, reflect on our roots, and see what's ready to be released.
