Working for the Weekend at Secrets: Part 1 | Episode 264
The Swing Nation is headed back to Secrets! In Part 1 of Dan and Lacy’s recap of the Secrets “Working for the Weekend” Takeover, they’re breaking down the first few days of the trip—from birthday surprises and tiki bar hangs to group play, poolside games, and one unexpectedly vulnerable lifestyle moment.

The weekend starts with a mission: surprise Daphne for her birthday. With Daphne’s room connected to theirs, Lacy gets to work decorating before she arrives. But when a night of hanging out with friends under the tiki bar turns into some late-night group play, the clock starts ticking. Daphne still hasn’t arrived, and Lacy spends the entire play session keeping one eye on Daphne’s location, hoping they can wrap things up and get back to the room before she walks in on her own surprise. Thankfully, the timing works out—barely.

Dan and Lacy also open up about playing with a new couple that night. When the other guy struggles to perform, he handles the situation incredibly well and still makes sure Lacy has a great time. But afterward, he carries some insecurity about what happened and feels like he needs a “redo.” Lacy shares why, from her perspective, there was absolutely nothing to make up for—and why one moment of performance anxiety doesn’t determine whether an experience was good.

Then it’s back to takeover mode as Dan and Lacy host games by the pool, reconnect with friends, and spend another night partying under the tiki hut with the growing Secrets crew.

It’s only the beginning of the weekend, and there’s plenty more to come in Part 2.

This week on Tuesday Talks, Dan and Lacy answer a question from a couple who chose not to book their Hedo trip with The Swing Nation because they wanted the option to pay the resort directly while still being included in the hosted group.

So why doesn’t it work that way?

Dan and Lacy break down what actually goes into creating a hosted week at Hedo — and why booking through the group matters. The Swing Nation works with a travel partner and receives only a percentage of the bookings made through their group. That revenue is then reinvested directly into the experience, helping cover the extras that make a hosted takeover feel different from an ordinary week at the resort.

Think additional staff, DJs, entertainment, décor, special events, upgraded experiences, and all of the little details that go into creating the atmosphere guests have come to expect.

They also explain why allowing guests to book directly with the resort while still receiving all of the benefits of the hosted group wouldn’t be sustainable — especially when the group is paying to create those extras.

It’s an honest conversation about the behind-the-scenes costs of hosting lifestyle travel, what your booking actually helps fund, and why supporting the group you’re traveling with helps make the experience better for everyone.

Hedo Part 3: Foam, Filming & Final Nights | Episode 260
Hedo Part 3 is here, and Lacy, Daphne, and Mike are wrapping up their unforgettable week in Jamaica! In the final chapter of their Hedo adventures, the crew picks up with one of the wildest events of the trip—the legendary foam party—and shares all the fun, chaos, and memories that came with it.

They also decide to venture beyond the Hedo bubble for a night out at The Jungle, giving them a completely different taste of Jamaican nightlife. Back at the resort the next day, it’s time to get to work… sort of. The group spends some time filming content, including an all-girl video that definitely makes for some memorable behind-the-scenes stories.

By the final night, an action-packed week is starting to catch up with everyone. It’s their friend’s birthday, and despite being completely exhausted, they do their best to rally and celebrate. But after days of nonstop parties, adventures, late nights, and very little sleep, the group finally admits defeat and calls it an early night.

From foam-covered fun and nights off-property to content creation, birthday celebrations, and the inevitable Hedo exhaustion, Lacy, Daphne, and Mike close out their Jamaica stories with plenty of laughs and one final look back at a trip they won’t soon forget.
