Before there were funnels.
Before there was the internet.
Before there was mass media.
There was a guy setting the foundation to sell more books than anyone else in history.
I call him the greatest salesman that ever lived.
His name was Jesus and the book is the Bible.
I’m working my way through it (again.)
And I still can’t believe some of the crazy stuff in there.
Jesus always taught through parables.
Simple short stories that taught a moral lesson.
There’s a reason for this.
I’m not sure why humans are hardwired to pay attention to stories.
Maybe it’s because that’s the way they passed information from one generation to another before the written word.
Think about it, a story could be the difference between life or death back then.
So it was important to remember them.
Anyways, stories work as well today as they ever have.
In some cases even better.
Why? Because there’s so much noise out there.
Marketers crying, “Listen to me. Look at me. Pay attention to me.”
People are blind and deaf when it comes to that stuff.
But a good story sucks someone in from the beginning and keeps them hanging on every word to the very end.
Why am I telling you this?
Because tomorrow I’ve got my man Nate Kennedy coming in to do a dramatic demonstration of how you can use the power of story to boost your authority and cut through the noise online.
He’s got this weird “Fireside Chat” formula he uses to create compelling stories for his clients.
Usually he charges $1,800 bucks for this stuff.
I convinced him to give one away for free on our LIVE call tomorrow.
You gotta be there LIVE to win…
