Troy questions what Martinez has done on the pitch to warrant such an interview and suggests he should improve his performances before he speaks out next time.

As for their clash this weekend, Leeds are favourites but Crooky thinks the chaos of midweek might somehow inspire Man United to get a win over their rivals.

Elsewhere, we ask if Bradley Barcola is set to shine in the Premier League after he bagged a hat trick midweek, Crooky rules Chelsea out of the title race, and Troy questions if Thomas Frank is really the man to save Fulham when they inevitably sack Arbeloa.

Sam, Crooky and Troy unpack all the action starting at Anfield where Man City drowned out the boo's at Anfield to see off Liverpool in their first match back since being found guilty of 114 charges by the Premier League.

We ask just how real the possibility of City winning the league is this season given their flawless start to the campaign under Enzo Maresca.

Meanwhile there is some serious concerns for Liverpool and in particular Florian Wirtz who was once again annonymous.

Elsewhere Man United found themselves lucky to hang on for a point at home to Spurs ahead of a crucial week for them, Chelsea hammered Bournemouth thanks to a Jordan Henderson brace and Glasner loses on his return to Selhurst Park

At the opposite end of the table it's grim reading for Spurs fans, 5 games, 0 wins, they sit rock bottom after a summer of heavy spending.

We ask why Man United seemed to get worse after Phil Foden was given an early red and if Erling Haaland's all important winner should have stood after interference from Enzo Fernandez.

Elsewhere there was another impressive result for Hull who drew away to Chelsea, the Tigers remain unbeaten and are now 8 points clear of fellow promoted side Coventry who sit bottom and goalless after losing 5-0 at home to Brighton.

Plus it was another frustrating weekend for Spurs and Liverpool who were both held to 0-0 draws
