All kinds of fun and helpful tools on this episode of The Water Jar podcast. In her regular segment Drop by Drop, Rachel Brown discusses recognizing your God given gifts and acknowledging the potential for Him to work through them. Heidi Lepper Barrett shares insights on something she calls "floating the tongue." As strange as that may sound, it's a beneficial practice helping us truly listen to others. Finally, Molly Myers makes her podcast debut by sharing a playlist to listen to, dance with, and pray with throughout these remaining days of summer.
Good News
Lisa shared a story about receiving roses on the ninth day of a novena praying St. Augustine's Prayer to the Holy Spirit. (Yes, those roses really did arrive on day nine.) Here's a picture of those spectacular flowers. Tune in to hear the full story. Here's the text to St. Augustine's Prayer to the Holy Spirit:
Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me, O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy. Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy. Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit, that I always may be holy. Amen.
