The First King | Jonathan Dirmann Oct 18, 2026
    Show notes

In this message, “The First King,” we continue our journey through the Old Testament series The Kings and You by exploring the transition from the era of the judges to the era of the kings. Through the story of Samuel, Eli, and the capture of the Ark of the Covenant, we see what happens when people treat God as a means to an end rather than approaching Him with genuine reverence and obedience. The Israelites attempted to use the Ark as a guarantee of victory, but their actions remind us that knowing the right name or having the right things around us is not a substitute for having the right heart before God.

As we follow Israel’s story, we are reminded that God is holy, just, and worthy of our wholehearted devotion. After years of turning away from the Lord, Israel was called to return to Him with all their hearts, put away their idols, and serve Him alone. Yet, the people eventually demanded a king so they could be like the surrounding nations, rejecting God’s leadership in favor of their own desires. This message challenges us to examine what we place our trust in, turn away from anything that takes God’s place, and choose to follow Him with sincere hearts rather than simply seeking Him when we need something.

The Last Judge | Jonathan Dirmann Oct 11, 2026
    Show notes

In this introductory message to The Kings and You series, we explore the life of Samuel, the last judge of Israel, and the pivotal moment when the era of the judges gave way to the era of the kings. Through the story of Samuel’s miraculous birth and his mother Hannah’s persistent prayers, we are reminded that God hears us when we cry out to Him. Even in seasons of recurring disappointment, we are called to keep praying, keep believing, and not lose heart. As we dive deeply into the Old Testament, we discover how these true stories reveal God’s character and continue to shape our lives today.

Through the contrast between Samuel and Eli’s sons, Hophni and Phinehas, we see that being part of the same family or church does not guarantee the same outcome—our choices matter. We are challenged to serve the Lord with a sincere heart, respond faithfully to His Word, and recognize that God is both loving and just. As Samuel grows in faithfulness, God establishes him as a prophet and prepares him to lead Israel into a new era. This message encourages us to keep seeking God, trust His timing, and remain faithful to Him, even when His answer seems delayed.

Rivers That Bring Joy | Jerry Dirmann Oct 04, 2026
    Show notes

Why does joy feel so far away, even when you love Jesus? In this message, Pastor Jerry Dirmann shows from Scripture that many believers lack joy because their river isn't flowing, and how rivers of living water can start flowing out of you today.
Continuing the joy teaching from Romans 14:17 ("righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit"), Pastor Jerry begins in Psalm 51 with David's prayer, "Restore to me the joy of your salvation," and the link between God's presence, the Holy Spirit, and joy. From the woman at the well in John 4 to Jesus' promise in John 7:37-39, he shows that once you are filled with the Spirit, you have a fountain inside you. Jesus said out of your heart will flow rivers of living water.

The Joy of the Morning Star | Jerry Dirmann Sep 27, 2026
    Show notes

The joy of the Holy Spirit is connected to what we focus on. In this message, Pastor Jerry continues the Joy in the Holy Spirit series by looking at the wise men who saw the star and rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. Just as the star signaled that Jesus’ first coming was near, Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star, and His Word gives us a promise of what is still to come. Discover what it means to let the “morning star” rise in your heart, to believe God’s promises before you see the breakthrough, and to look forward to what God has ahead rather than remaining focused on the past.

What Are You Looking At? | Jerry Dirmann Sep 20, 2026
    Show notes

What are you looking at? In this message, we are reminded that the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Joy is not simply dependent on our circumstances—it is connected to what we believe, what we are filled with, and where we choose to place our focus. As believers, God's presence lives within us, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can experience His joy and peace even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
The question is: What are you looking at? Through Philippians 4 and the example of the wise men following the star, we are challenged to choose rejoicing, bring our problems to God with thanksgiving, and intentionally meditate on what is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy. When we keep our eyes on Jesus and trust in what God has promised, we can experience a joy that is not dependent on what we see around us—a joy that is inexpressible and full of glory.

Take the Next Step | Jerry Dirmann Sep 06, 2026
    Show notes

What happens when a people receive what the Holy Spirit is doing? Acts 2 gives us a picture: believers devoted themselves to the Word, fellowship, prayer, generosity, and life together—and the Lord continued to add to the church. In this post-Rock Conference 2026 message, we look at Acts 2:40–47 and celebrate what God is doing through The Rock Network while challenging us to respond. Rock Conference may be finished, but now it’s our turn to take the next step and participate in what God is building.

    📖 Scripture: Acts 2:40–47 (NKJV)

God Has The Answer | Jerry Dirmann Aug 30, 2026
    Show notes

In today’s message, “God Has the Answer,” we explore Jeremiah 29 and Daniel 9 and what these passages reveal about seeking God in the midst of uncertainty, difficulty, and waiting. Daniel didn’t simply accept what he wanted to hear—he went to God’s Word, sought the Lord through prayer and fasting, confessed, and trusted God for His answer. This message encourages us to draw near to God, seek Him with our whole heart, listen for His direction, and faithfully respond to what He says. God has the answer, and He invites us to seek Him.

Don’t Doubt in the Dark What God Spoke in the Light | Corey Theetge Aug 23, 2026
    Show notes

God wants to speak to us—to guide us, direct us, encourage us, correct us, and lead us into His purpose for our lives. But hearing God's voice is only the beginning. We are called to respond with obedience and faith, even when we don't have all the details or understand how everything will come together. In this message, we are challenged to tune in to God's voice, trust His direction, and be willing to step out of the boat when He says, "Come."

What happens when we obey God, but things don't go according to our plan? It's in those seasons of waiting, uncertainty, and difficulty that doubt can begin to creep in. Through the story of David and the promise God gave to Abraham and Sarah, we are reminded that God's timing is not always our timing, but His promises remain true. When the path gets dark, we must not allow our circumstances to make us doubt what God spoke to us in the light. Don't give up too soon. Keep trusting, keep obeying, and keep believing that God will bring His Word to pass.

    Rooted | Nicole Stark-Nitzel Aug 16, 2026
    Show notes

In this message, Pastor Nicole challenges us to consider what it looks like to remain anchored and rooted in Christ when it’s easy to drift. Drifting can happen gradually, but staying rooted requires intentionality. Through Scripture and personal stories, Pastor Nicole shares three keys to remaining firmly established in Christ: knowing God's Word and believing it is true, choosing obedience to what God says, and knowing Jesus—not simply knowing about Him. When we make God's Word our foundation, obey His direction, and abide in His presence, we can stand firm even when the current of culture tries to pull us away.
The invitation is simple but powerful: read our Bibles, obey Jesus, and be with Him daily. Jesus calls us to abide in Him, just as a branch remains connected to the vine. When we intentionally seek Him and build our lives on His Word, we become a church that is rooted and anchored rather than one that drifts with the current. The goal isn't simply to start well, but to remain faithful and finish well by keeping our hearts connected to Jesus.
