    Pinkpill Rx

The Pinkpill Rx podcast attempts to address and deconstruct real issues women face in our society and culture. This is a fast-paced, ADHD-laced educational podcast where we attempt to display, address and spread awareness regarding the male & female education gaps when it comes to women’s lived experiences. We are a husband and wife team who advocate for critical thinking and open dialogue. Everyone has something to learn if we just listen to one another. You can find us on TikTok @Kators88.

Episode 77 - The Branded Female Body Sep 28, 2026
    Show notes

*Correction: In this episode, I mention the Cornell 7 and incorrectly claim that two were suspended when they were actually expelled. The other five had to attend workshops and/or write essays.

In this episode of PinkpillRx, we explore the medical gaze, why so many structures of female reproductive anatomy are named after male physicians and we also examine the fascinating case of the rete ovarii, a structure known since the 19th century that was largely dismissed as a vestigial remnant and eventually disappeared from many anatomy textbooks.
From the medical gaze to anatomical eponyms, from the history of gynecology to the rediscovery of overlooked biology, this episode asks the question: Who gets to decide what is worth studying, naming, remembering, and believing about women’s bodies?

    Episode 76 - A Crime of Moral Failing Sep 14, 2026
    Show notes

In this episode, we actually have a good news segment before we dive into the history of rape and sexual assault—how it was traditionally defined and viewed, who the laws protected and what you can thank a feminist for. We also share several follower stories about abuse, rape and coercion. This isn’t a light episode, so trigger warning if these topics feel too heavy to hear. Episode 75 - AI Gender Bias Aug 31, 2026
    Show notes

NOTE: This episode is a discussion and critique of AI, not an endorsement of its use. In this episode, we’re taking a look into gender bias in AI. We discuss how AI can reproduce and potentially amplify existing inequalities in healthcare, medical research, diagnosis, treatment, and hiring practices, including the ways women can be overlooked or disadvantaged when the underlying data does not adequately represent them. We examine what this means for women seeking medical care, women entering the workforce, and anyone whose life may increasingly be influenced by AI and algorithms. Episode 74 - Pinkpill Mini: “Natural” Womanhood Aug 24, 2026
    Show notes

In this episode, we look at the rules that have been imposed on women and then disguised as nature, morality, religion, or social order. From unpaid domestic labor and the expectation that women should tolerate pain, to the persecution of women who stepped outside prescribed roles. Who really benefits when women’s labor or limitations are treated as “natural”? Episode 73 - The Cost of Silence Aug 17, 2026
    Show notes

Where did the idea that women are “gossips” come from? In this episode we explore the origins of gossip, the gossip bridle (how it was used to punish outspoken women), and why gossip can actually serve important social functions. We also unpack women’s tendency to self-silence, the health consequences of constantly swallowing thoughts and emotions, and share studies on relationships, communication, and couples’ arguments. Episode 72 - Pinkpill Mini: Four Rabbit Holes Aug 10, 2026
    Show notes

Our first mini-episode. Short format, four quick-paced topics. We talk about where the “wife beater” tank top name might have come from (the folklore), if men really are more visual creatures than women, Flock camera surveillance of one woman and how men and women might describe pain differently. Episode 71 - Authority, Obedience, and Who Gets to Lead Aug 03, 2026
    Show notes

For most of history, women were denied education, denied leadership, and told the reasons “why” were “natural facts” instead of rules someone wrote down. In this episode, we brief on the history of women’s education, we trace how modern complementarianism got built in 1987, why a mediocre man benefits most from keeping women out of the room, how women are still being silenced in the workplace, and who is more obedient—men or women? Episode 70 - We Don’t Talk About This Enough Jul 20, 2026
    Show notes

A wide-ranging conversation on the burdens women carry and the narratives that sustain them. We discuss a listener’s story about invisible labor as well as fear and safety, false rape accusations versus sexual violence, gender expectations, and new research that reveals female biology is far more active than we’ve been led to believe and more. Episode 69 - Pinkpill, Redpill, Blackpill Jul 06, 2026
    Show notes

In the first half of this episode, we examine questions like why is sleeping with men considered something that lowers a woman’s value…but the ultimate insult to a man is that he slept with a man? Why is a drunk woman irresponsible while a drunk man is excused? Why is a woman who prioritizes her career “selfish,” while a man doing the same is “ambitious”? In the second half of the episode, we take a research-based look at the manosphere, incel ideology, and the growing body of evidence separating loneliness from misogyny. We break down the differences between the red pill, black pill, incels, and the broader manosphere, examine how online grievance communities radicalize vulnerable men, and discuss what the research actually says about hostility toward women. Episode 68 - The Surprising Costs of Being Female Jun 22, 2026
    Show notes

It’s Katie’s birthday, and her best friend is joining us for the episode—who also happens to be Jay’s twin sister. The result is laughs, tangents, sibling stories, and unfiltered conversation. This episode we are asking questions. Do women actually talk more than men, or is that just another persistent stereotype? Are women’s medical procedures reimbursed at lower rates than comparable procedures for men? And why do women often pay more? From prescription medications and car insurance to pink tariffs and other gender-based price disparities? Along the way, we catch ourselves uncovering yet another example of internalized sexism in real time, proving that even when you spend your time examining gender inequality, it still has a way of sneaking up on you.
