Capital Punishments Oct 15, 2026

You know there's a lot of fudging going on when the synodal church puts its apostate pen-to-paper and relies upon squish words like "inadmissible" to shroud their true rebellion against the Truth. Antipope Prevost is at it again though, now regarding the death penalty, attempting to practice more capital punishment against established and confirmed Catholic doctrine. Out the window, as always in the fausse-église, are true justice, proper reprisal, God's dignity and the common good. Not to mention the victims whose blood cries out for recompense and peace. Cheapest, fiat-mercy is the primary currency of the Vatican.
When was the last time he spoke out against the wars raging across the world at the behest of Talmudic-globalist forces? It sure has been awhile, likely since operational, institutional church works at the Prevost cabal's behest. Prevost can't wait to deride capitalism and capitalists' perceived and illusory avarice as the cause of all conflict, and yet--as the great Thaddeus Russell illustrates again--true market entrepreneurs are the most vocal opponents to foreign conflict. It should be known.

Reverse Baptism Oct 03, 2026

Euthanasia is the demonic inversion of redemptive baptism. One provides new life, cleansed of sin; the other draws men into the destruction of human life while plunging him into mortal sin. It is an affirmative, repurposed and repeated response to Satan's call to man to reject his Creator and his nature as made in God's image and likeness. It is repugnant. It is, with abortion, the opposite of love and compassion. It is wrath and sloth given a luminous sheen.
As the modernist church has sheepishly abandoned the necessary temerity of the Proclamation of the Kingdom of God, it is no wonder then that contemporary man has little to no hesitation in embracing consequentialism devoid of principles. Euthanasia has never been more prominent or popular.
Zoning is the new leaf-blower in Oak Park... If only they would ban the former as the latter...

Memory is a fickle friend and one that can evoke sadness especially when it comes to remembering the dead. Memento etiam is not so much, "remember also" but more so "recall even now" after so many years forgotten, this great figure in my life who gave God greater glory.

Richied Was Wrong: Belgians and the Congo Sep 06, 2026

History is a dynamic discipline and as such, when your wrong as a historian, it is not just best but rather essential that you mend your errors and declare them to all who might (and certainly did) listen. Thus, the case of Richied's previous teaching on the experience of the Congolese during during the État Indépendant du Congo (EIC) period as well as formal colonization by the Belgians beginning in 1908. He leaned and relied too heavily on too few accounts that fit into what he had previously been told about the era, especially Adam Hochschild's KING LEOPOLD'S GHOST. This episode serves as his formal and public confession and plea for mercy, as well as hopeful absolution. Revisionism is the matter in this intellectual rite.

In its history and even in its gameplay, Monopoly has always been an anti-capitalistic indoctrination tool. It glorifies submission to central banking and the State while treating competition in free markets as nothing but a hateful exercise of ruination against your fellow man. Try to cooperate? Other players howl collusion. "Land" on the property of another? You are forced to pay without receiving any benefit from exchange. That is to say that the Georgist, original intent of the game remains: to leave the contestants believing that any sound recognition of property rights (from which all other inalienable rights are mere descriptors) renders individuals throughout the rest of the world as nothing but aggressors and trespassers.
When Oak Parkers are not busy defending their collective right to monopolize land use according to the richest Oak Parkers' tastes, they are busy arguing about just how democratic their democracy should be. The rabbi class wants less.

It is not primitive man, only in the state of nature, that we attain such natural heights, but in true civilization which is nothing but approved and binding adherence to Revelation and Tradition.

Return--again!--cooperation, friendship, honesty, temperance, humility and magnanimity...

They promise to be the DMV and post office of food conveyance. Socialism does indeed suck.
The U.S. Post Office announces a running deficit that exceeds the going rate of regime change wars, but no one has the gumption to dismantle the boondoggle.
St. Ephrem the Syrian reminds us of the centrality of a well-informed, grace-directed and nonetheless FREE will. Progressives and elites recoil at the notion because, in the end, their worldview is driven by their megalomania and disgust for the choices of those "below" them.
Oak Parker debate over just how much the government should control who gets to live next to them while ensuring that Oak Park remains the thinly-veiled, exclusive, old-money country club it has always been.
