Latest Episodes:

004. Tony Poston Feb 08, 2024

Show notes

We talk to Tony Poston, executive director of CougsFirst!, and why he made the change to this from his role as president (and founder) of the College Hill Group. Pullman wasn't where Tony grew up but it helped make him who he is and he's very #PullmanProud.

003. Kurt Dahmen Jan 30, 2024

Show notes

On this episode of the #PullmanProud Podcast, I sit down with Kurt Dahmen, longtime resident of the Palouse and longtime employee of the City of Pullman. He’s the new"ish" Director of Parks and Facilities but, even before I was on city council, I, like many others, worked fairly closely with him when he was the city’s recreation manager, a role where he got a lot of face time with parents and families and, yes, even weirdo Little League Baseball coaches like me. I enjoyed my conversation with Kurt. We talked about recent upgrades to the parks, where that money came from, and, yes, I did challenge him on some bond-financing philosophy that I have. Enjoy the podcast.

002: Nathan Weller Jan 23, 2024

Show notes

On this episode of the Pullman Proud Podcast, I sit down with Nathan Weller. He’s Pullman’s longest-serving city councilmember, representing Ward 2 and its residents. In full disclosure, I served one term on Pullman City Council. I got to know Nathan while I served and saw where his heart and passions were. I appreciated his recognition of his own shortcomings, something I quite frankly struggle with. I consider him a good friend. I talk to him about why he ran, why he continues to run, and what each councilmember can do to better connect with residents.

001: Linda Infranco Jan 16, 2024

Show notes

On this initial episode of the #PullmanProud Podcast, I sit down with Linda Infranco. She’s the executive director of the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation. It’s a timely sit-down since the Foundation is hosting its annual gala early next month. But it also gives us the chance to discuss other Foundation initiatives and the good that philanthropy brings.
