[MARKED] IS A PODCAST FOR WOMEN WHO ARE MARKED BY A HUNGER FOR GOD’S WORD, A LONGING TO IMPACT CULTURE, AND A DESIRE TO DISCOVER AND LIVE OUT GOD’S CALLING IN THEIR LIVES. Each episode, Kelly King and Elizabeth Hyndman will talk about what God is doing—how He has and is marking each of us.
Today we welcome Richard Blackaby, one of the authors of Experiencing God. God has used the truths of Experiencing God to awaken believers to a radically God-centered way of life. As a result, millions have come to know God intimately, to recognize His voice, and to understand His will for their lives. Join us today as Richard shares stories of how this study came about. Enjoy!
Richard Blackaby is president of Blackaby Ministries International and the oldest child of Henry and Marilynn Blackaby. He holds degrees from the University of Saskatchewan, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Dallas Baptist University. He lives with his wife and children in South Carolina.
The Supreme Court ruling last summer has led to many conversations in the culture and the church regarding women and access to abortion. Today we welcome Lauren Green McAfee as she shares how it is impacting our churches, practical and long-term ways churches can help and how we can we love women well who find themselves in this situation.
Lauren Green McAfee is a speaker, connector, and coffee enthusiast. She works for Hobby Lobby corporate and has authored Only One Life, Not What You Think and Legacy study. She holds a Masters of Arts in pastoral counseling, theological studies, a Masters of Theology, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Ethics and Public Policy. Previously, Lauren worked for the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. where she served as Curator, Artifact Collection Manager, and Director of Community Engagement. Lauren and her husband Michael live in Oklahoma and enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with their daughter, Zion.
Join us as we welcome our first guest of 2023, Jen Wilkin, as we discuss her new Bible Study, Abide! How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In these three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us, as well. In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin helps you see how two thousand years later, his words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth.

Izabella McMillon joins us today to talk about Operation Christmas Child. Listen as we hear Izabella’s shoebox story and how this unexpected gift of God’s love was life-changing to her. Join us to learn ways you can be a part of this impactful ministry. Enjoy!
Izabella McMillon grew up during the communistic regime in Romania when even attending a church could have resulted in death. Finding a hidden Bible in their home, Izabella and her brother began secretly attending church weekly.
When she was 13 years old, Izabella received a colorful shoebox gift. For her, the gift was life-changing, because it confirmed God’s existence and unconditional love. She finally understood that this God that she was reading about in the Bible cared for her. Since that day, Izabella has come to the United States and introduced the shoebox project to churches, schools and her own children.
Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes.
Operation Christmas Child collects more than 10 million gift-filled shoeboxes each year and distributes them to boys and girls in over 120 countries.
In the hands of local churches around the world, shoeboxes become a tool for evangelism, discipleship & multiplication!
Shoebox gifts are more than box of toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, each shoebox is an opportunity for a local church to share the Gospel and invite children into a discipleship program.
Just last year in 2021, over 2.5 million children reported decisions for Christ while participating in the follow up discipleship program, The Greatest Journey!
Purchase branded shoeboxes on our website or use your own from your closet

Oct 10, 2022
Ministry wives and friends! Please join us for this special episode as we talk to Raylee and Courtney, friends and ministers wives. She is a pastor’s wife that is down to earth and wants to make a difference in her church family and community through the truth of God’s word. This desire to make an impact on her community flows into her being a school counselor that works with elementary students. Raylee is a regular girl that God has taken on an amazing adventure in the most normal way. She loves her God, her people, and a great conversation over a great cup of coffee!
Courtney Matlock has had a front row seat to ministry life since birth as a “preachers kid” – but officially as a ministry wife since 2003. Courtney is married to her college sweetheart, Douglas Matlock & the mom to 3 girls, 1 geriatric Yorkie & 1 giddy Goldendoodle! Courtney loves pursuing her calling as a high school Family & Consumer Science teacher, where she get to share the light of Jesus with students from all walks of life.
